This one will definitely flatten you out (size down if you want a firmer control). I did, but there is some stretch in it. If you want something that will keep you in place, the maiden form shapewear is also great, but it does have a "compression" feel to it. Depending on what I'm wearing, I like to keep both in my closet! It's an excellent piece to have on hand.
The power pants have a ruching detail in the back that provides shape but not as much rigidity, whereas this garment provides shaping around the buttocks area. In comparison to the power panties, which provide control while being more stretchy, this garment is also more rigid.
A tiny rim on the bottom of the leg part might (or might not) be visible, but barley. It's almost seamless if you smooth it out while putting your leggings on! Personally, I would recommend them because I wear mine all the time and own several. ) I hope that this information is useful!
Yes. They were unappealing to me, but they were genuine. They aren't as thigh-stretching as they appear to be. hugging like the previous pair I bought. All day, I have to pull them down.

This is fantastic! In April, I ordered this to wear beneath my backless, full-lace wedding gown. However, I was expecting it to be a bit on the small side! I'm 5'6" and weigh around 170 pounds on a daily basis. I went with the large because I think I could use a little more compression! However, it made my size 16 jeans three sizes too big, and they were falling off after I put the Spanx on! Under my skinny jeans, the seams are smooth and invisible. Yes, there was some rolling of the top. Even though the waistband rolled, it was hidden and never made me uncomfortable because the top edge sits right at my waist, under my ribs, in between two chub "rolls" lol. The legs remained immovable. The material kept my booty warm while sitting outside on a chilly night while also being breathable enough to keep me comfortable the entire time; I ordered another pair with firmer compression for the wedding, but I'll definitely keep both pairs!.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the fit of these. I thought these would work after looking at the pictures and measurements. Because I'm short (5'2"), the "waist" only came up to my bra, so it rolled down. My shorts had almost reached my knees. The slimming effect was adequate, but not nearly as effective as a pair of thick stockings or pantyhose. In that regard, it's not worth the money, and it's especially not for people who are shorter.
They're snug in all the right places, making you feel safe, protected, and contained without looking like a sausage casing (eek!). Some say they roll down; mine didn't the first few times I wore them, but they did after a while. In addition, my torso is shorter. I did try a trick suggested by another reviewer: I wore them inside out just as much as I wore them right-side up. Our side of the equation is complete, and the issue is no longer an issue. This is unquestionably a fantastic choice! I'll be buying more in different colors, as well as fhenine with straps, so that top rolling can be easily fixed.
While I appreciate the tummy control they provide, I was very excited to receive these SPANX but was disappointed. While I appreciate the tummy control they provide, the fit has been an issue for me. My height is 4'11" and my weight is 120 pounds. I wanted some tummy support, but the waistband rolls and the thighs ride up, making them very uncomfortable and providing no leg support. The thighs' seam is bumpy and rippled. All of these factors indicate that the look isn't smooth, and it's clear that you're wearing some sort of support. I'm very disappointed in this purchase.
Following abdominal surgery, my surgeon recommended that I wear these Spanx. They were extremely comfortable to wear and provided adequate compression. I was concerned that pulling them up over my large incision at my bikini line would be too difficult, and that it would irritate or scrape the wound. They were, however, simple to stretch away from the body and position without dragging them across the area. I'm 5'7" and weigh 133 pounds, so the medium seemed to be a good fit.
I've been a Spanx fan for a very long time. Sara Blakely has really upped her game with this one; I'm 5'2" and 140 pounds, and a medium fits me perfectly. This product accomplishes all of its objectives. Lifts your buttocks, tummy, and thighs while smoothing them out. I like how there isn't a seam down the front like on some of their other items. It was well worth the money.
My bridesmaid dress fit for a wedding was completely different now. These helped suck everything in without any bulges on top or at the legs, which I'm still carrying a bit of weight from my pregnancy around the midsection. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! I'm 5'2" and weigh 130 pounds, so I ordered a small. I recommend that you use the size chart as a guide.
The legs are also perfect, with nothing showing through under pants or a dress. I'm very happy.
