I'm 5'2", and the only time I've worn them was under a dress that went past my knees (slightly), and they didn't show. The length of the underwear was just above my knee. Sorry for not being more helpful, but I believe it depends on your height and the length of your dress/skirt.
Yes, I believe so. I ordered the 3X in a size 20 pair of jeans/pants. They're comfortable and slightly loose, so they don't ride up and I don't have to constantly pull them down.

The 3x was wearable, but very loose in the thighs, to the point where it was extremely comfortable but not "grabby. " " I like my shortlettes to be a little snug (not too tight, but not too loose) so that they don't roll up. While wearing it, I was able to easily fit my hand into the thigh portion. I couldn't get a grip in the 3x. br>br>In any case, the choice is yours. Sizing down is recommended if you prefer TIGHT rash guards. Stay true to size if you prefer a normal fit; go up one size if you prefer them loose with no snugness. I'm about to order the 2x, but I'll still wear the 3x because it's comfortable, even if it's un-flattering. Snug/loose-fitting. D It's certainly simple to yank down and up. br>br>It's a nice product.
