Don't be afraid to run big

This is a nice quality product. The work is very good. The run-away size blows the measurements out of the water! Using my daughter's measurements, I determined her leg measures 9". I therefore ordered the medium size because I fit between nine and ten I decided on 12 inches so that I could grow with it. My leather is super soft and pliable, so I know it will stretch. It would have been easier to simply exchange them, but the replacements wouldn't have arrived on.

I loved the fit and felt comfortable for most of the day when wearing these for my 8 year old. In order to learn how to put them on, I searched online for an instructional video and I think I applied them In spite of her mistakes, they did not stain her jodhpur too badly, and they stayed up until her ride had ended and she and her friends had run around. I thought the show looked beautiful and was in place for the entire seven hours.

The video is a little too long but very good

These garter straps seem to be of good quality. A full hole has been punched through each one, and they are both flexible. I love the buckles, but I think they are long for the belt. Unfortunately, I didn't have scissors at the show, and because they were too long to tuck in well, I couldn't use them.
