For the first time in my life, I have left a 1-star review (I also made sure to measure my leg carefully and studied hours of garter designs online). Although I received the garter it never felt "special" to me or like I had found "the one," but I was desperate because I waited until the last minute and decided to take a chance based on the positive reviews. I unfortunately would make the wrong choice if that were to be my choice. In the first few minutes that I wore it, the garter did not fit properly it continued to slide down my leg endlessly until it broke. I'm in a tangle. I found pulling up the sash every 5 seconds quite an extreme sport to do when wearing a ball gown. As I walked, I could feel it creep down my leg again, and then as we were walking into the reception, I noticed that it had come out from under my dress and snapped a We didn't even get to the reception with it. I am so sad about this whole situation. Gartering my wedding day with that garter was exactly how I had always imagined it. This item has been a bad experience for me overall. The goal of this review is to keep another bride from having this unfortunate experience on what is supposed to be the most special day of her life.
