Yes. Because they're cuffs, they're meant to be worn over cartilage. Pinching can be used to tighten them, but some are more difficult to do than others. I wouldn't wear them in the lobe where you'd normally wear a traditional earring because they wouldn't stay put very well.
Yes, for the most part; I wear them with my hair up because it is more likely to fall off if my hair gets tangled on it or if I bump it with my hand. br>I ruined a few by squeezing them to fit my ear, which ruined the shape or rendered them unusable for re-use.
I'm not sure what you're looking for. Wire-wrapped ones were useless in my opinion. The cuff style fits snugly around your ear, and I haven't had any issues with mask loops pulling them off.
I believe they are too wide to be comfortable there, but your nose may be different from mine; give it a shot and see!

I loved the look of a single cuff on one ear paired with two pairs of huggie earrings. So I was really looking forward to getting these, but it fell off (thankfully while I was inside the house) and I thought I'd misplaced it. I wasn't even aware that it had fallen. Later, I discovered it. Then I squozed it extra hard the next time I wore it to keep it from falling off. Even though it was a little uncomfortable, it almost managed to get away. I'll put it on every now and then. I like the look, but I wish they had more spring action, like a traditional clip-on earring, to keep them in place. I prefer jewelry that is simple and quick to put on. I don't like having to fiddle with things so much that they fall off and/or hurt.

I'd been wearing the same three ear cuffs on my upper ear for over five years before losing two of them in a week. While some of the pieces were bent to the point of being unwearable, I was able to find several in each metal tone that worked for a fun change because there are two of each design. I was pleasantly surprised by them and look forward to wearing them.
