Whenever I wear a U, I never take it off. The model is 8, wearing Doc boots, and the model is 6 F(M)U. The equivalent unit is It is shown in the charts. I could not ask for a better fit. When it comes to shoes, however, it is usually necessary to size down. So if you normally wear women's size 5, you should order a size down. You should be able to get the right fit with these boots. My recommendation is to get them if you are looking for a gorgeous and comfortable pair!

Oct. 2016 was the date I bought these. Wearing them to work has become a daily ritual for me. Besides wearing them in the rain and snow, and hiking 3 miles up a mountain (7 miles round trip), these pants are also very comfortable. All they have had to say is how comfortable they are. While wearing them, I haven't slipped or fallen once on ice or when driving in greasy conditions. After several wears I submit the photo below, taken today March 7th 2017 for you to see how nice the boot still looks after several wears after using neutral or clear polish once a month to help keep it looking nice and to protect it. In my opinion, this is the perfect boot to purchase if you want something that will last and won't need to be replaced for a long time.
I am purchasing Dr. Martin's for the first time. Having purchased it in an 8, I had to go up half a size. Shoes that fit me are a size I need to leave 1/2 inch of space at the toes for my foot to expand and thicker socks to fit in every shoe, especially running shoes. My calves are medium sized so it fit just enough to allow long socks and stockings to allow a tall boot look to be pulled together. The comfortable snug was perfect. The trick is to break in the shoe gradually at home over a week or two so that the shoe maps to the foot contours. I wear Superfeet insoles and apply foot powder to stop chafing on my feet and ankles. You shouldn't worry about the bulky size or bigness of the shoe because that is how Docs are supposed to fit since they are meant to be worn for work. It is a real pleasure to wear these lovely boots. Despite being used for months, the applique looks very nice, is high in quality, and is still in very good condition. They zip up the sides, which I really like. With the new boot style, they are much easier to take on or off than the old boots. After buying these over the summer, I tried them on and thought "These are not going to work for me," since they felt so tight and stiff to me. I took the insoles out of my Doc Martens boots and wore them around the house as much as I could after reading advice on the internet regarding breaking in the shoes. I started going for walks in them as they stretched out. At a festival later on in the summer, it rained every day, so I wore them again. It was warm, dry, and happy to have my feet on the ground throughout the My wife wiped all the mud from my shoes at home, and I put on a product with lanolin, beeswax, and coconut oil to restore their shine. Over the applique design, I even rubbed the conditioner in. As the boots wore in, they became so much more supple and lovely. I then put the insoles back into the shoes, and I was able to comfortably wear them. Even though there is still a "breaking in" period left, these shoes are very comfortable right now. The best way to protect your foot from the leather rubbing on your ankles is to wear a thin water resistant merino hiking sock (like Smartwool's). In spite of so many years, I am excited to be back in the "Docs" club. My own pair of booties have literally had holes in their soles and the eyelets have fallen out. I wore them out as a teen and in my 20s. It is only now that I realize how evocative the boots are for me in my 40s. It is like you and anyone else who has worn docs at any time feel like you have a kinship. If you ask these folks what boots they wore, they will tell you all about the boots they are wearing, or the boots they wore in the past. The same thing has never happened to me with any other shoe, not even the best Documents hold a special place for people due to their personal nature. There is a relationship that develops between you and the shoe. It's different the way you walk, the way you stand. Your behavior changes in subtle ways as a result of it. I originally bought these in my usual size in Docs, which is a uk4 or a size 6 in us but they hurt my foot on the top. After I tried walking around the house for an hour or so to see if they might break in a bit, I was in excruciating pain. I had bruises on the top arches of my feet when I took them off. My eye is drawn to the stitching that runs across the boot at the bottom of the laces. It's not right. I feel that these are not the most comfortable shoe, unless you have a very flat foot and you find these very comfortable. They were the perfect length and width. I then exchanged then for uk 5 or 7 and the pain on the tops of my feet had gone, but I still had to roll up my husband's socks in the toes because they were almost 2" too long, and that made me trip on things, too. Marten shoes for the first time. And I am in love with it! It's no secret that I'm in love with these boots. The boots I'm wearing are my first pair of Dr. Martens! The desire to own Prada sunglasses has never left me since I was a teenager in the 90s! It was suggested by a friend that I would need to break them in, but that does not seem to be the case. As soon as I put them on, they were so comfortable! Having zippers on the side allows them to be put on and taken off easily. Once you tighten the laces just right, they are easy to wear. There is room for the toes, but they are not huge. Since boots have always seemed to need a half size extra, especially if we are going to wear thick socks with them, I did purchase one size bigger than my typical size. It has the feel of quality in these boots. But the soles of the shoes are thick but not too There is a sturdy leather feel to the exterior. A beautiful embroidery is featured here. They do not have lining on the calf part of the boot, but, in my opinion, that does not detract from their value. My overall experience with this purchase has been nothing short of wonderful and I am actually saving up to buy another pair of Dr. Martens that has been sitting in my shopping cart for quite some time now.
Marten shoes so I bought these for her. The shoes are so comfortable, according to her. These boots are just about the most comfortable she's ever worn. The only thing she wishes is that they didn't have a lining inside because the rose patchwork is visible on the inside. Knee socks or leggings are essential. However, the boots are terrific.
