Questions & Answers

Is it the genuine article or a forgery?

Because Doc Martens are now made in Thailand, the boot will most likely say "Made in Thailand." (In response to the reviewer who claimed they were fakes.) Before I bought these, I had to do some research. They relocated factories in order to reduce production costs.

I'm looking at a 9uk, which should be a 10us but is actually an 11us. Please provide more information about the sizes. I'm looking for a men's 9uk/10us. ?

Zappos is a great place to get them. After dealing with the confusion on here and on Journey's site, I decided to go with Zappos because their sizing chart is clear and concise.

I am 7. What size do I require for a 5m project?

These run a little wide and short in my experience, but you could go up to an 8 in them. 0 and you'll be fine. I have an 11-year-old son. 1/2 foot, but in a size 12. The Doc's have a score of 0 out of 10. I used a Dr. Scholls insole, which not only compensated for the slop but also made standing and walking around all day more comfortable. I hope this information is useful.

The color of the image on the Dr. Martens website does not match the one on this page. ?

I'd be wary of it if I were you - That doesn't appear to be the cherry red arcadia I received - Mine are a gorgeous deep red (not oxblood) with a mica-like sheen to them, and they look more like patent leather than these flat colors.

Are these the medical professionals you're looking for? The Cherry Red color is absolutely stunning! It's more of a black cherry in my opinion, but it's still quite lovely
4/5

Because the color isn't completely black, it pairs well with jeans and black pants. Adding a splash of color without going overboard. Because the leather is stiff, you must break them in with any Doc. Before you complain, take a deep breath and break in your boots. Doctors aren't designed to deal with whiners. Wear good tall socks and tighten the laces to prevent movement. It will be well worth your time and effort. A few reviewers have also mentioned that they are made in China and are counterfeit. Nope. They're made in Thailand, where I bought another pair of docs a few years ago (at Journey's). All of the labels are identical. The only thing I don't like about these boots is that they're about an inch longer in the front than my other pairs. So, as a petite woman standing 5'3 and wearing a size 7(us), I'm not a big fan of the long foot look, but when in Rome, ya know. This has no effect on the fit, and they don't feel clunkier or oversized than usual. DOCS ARE FOR YOU IF YOU WANT A LONG-LASTING BOOT.

Sizing is a pain - THE COLOR IS AMAZING! Let me start by saying that the 1460 Cherry Red Arcadia is a stunning shade of red
4/5

Photographing it is difficult, but you get exactly what you see. This is a lovely deep glossy color that pairs well with a variety of items. These boots have gotten a lot of compliments. Although I haven't scuffed them yet, the scuffs do appear to be red. br>br>At this point - sizing - I usually wear a size nine. Depending on the shape of the toe box, 10 US women's in boots. If you're trying to figure out what sizes are available and you're usually a half-size, size - I understand your dissatisfaction. Order with the intention of trying different sizes/countries of origin later. The majority of international size charts use a US size 9 for women. A size 10 corresponds to a size 40 in Euro terms. However, a women's US size 10 is listed as a Euro 42 on the Doc Marten website. There is a significant distinction. br>br>I placed an order for a 42/US 10 women's/8 UK size on the Doc Marten website. It was a massive group. They were engulfing my feet. In front of my toes, I had about an inch of space. Exchanged for a 41/US 9W (women's not wide)/7 UK in 41/US 9W (women's not wide). The color (Rouge Smooth) and size (42/10 W/8 UK) were both incorrect, but it fit perfectly. The fit is perfect. It was a full size smaller than the one I returned, but the measurements were the same. (WTF! ) I gave them back because I had my heart set on the Cherry Red Arcadia. Unfortunately, neither of these boots had their country of origin checked. br>br>I finally settled on a 41/US 9 W/ 7 UK Cherry Red Arcadia from Thailand, which are just a smidgeon too short for me. They'd be a 9 if possible. My toes are nearly touching the toe box's front edge. However, the fit was fantastic everywhere else. I was overjoyed to receive this color and was sick of shipping shoes, so I kept them and took out the insoles. This allows me to have a little more space in front of my foot. My foot stays far enough back in the ankle when it's laced tightly that my toes don't touch the front when it's laced tightly. As others have pointed out, the way the sizes run may be influenced by the country of origin. In conclusion, I'm a 9 out of 10. 5 US women's, and a 41/ 7 UK fit is similar to a 9 US in length but more like a 10 US in the rest of the boot (width, heel, and so on). This is a pair of boots with a lot of room - which I enjoy!) Best of luck!.

It appears to be fantastic! In person, the red spots stand out more
4/5

It appears to be fantastic! In person, the red spots are more noticeable than they appear in the photo. However, the majority of the time it is a dark red. The only issue I have is that the top of the boots hurts a lot, particularly in my right foot. I have a feeling it will be difficult to gain entry. I'm sending photos to you via direct message. light that is not direct.

My new Doc Martens boots are fantastic! Since high school in 1995, I've been rekindling my passion for Dr
5/5

Martens. Since my rediscovery, I've purchased three pairs of DM boots, and this one is by far my favorite: the Cherry Red color is exactly as shown in the photos, and it resembles the actual cherry fruit color, which is a brown maroon. This leather's finish will protect it from scratches and scuffs better than the smooth leather. The fit is as expected; snug with thick socks on, but after breaking in/stretching out, it will be comfortable. This leather is thicker and stiffer than the regular smooth leather, so I expect it to take longer to break in, but there hasn't been any major discomfort or tightness when I've worn them around the house so far. This fall, I'm looking forward to trying these! Oh, and it ended up costing at least $45 on Amazon. When you factor in the tax, it's $50 less!.

These are absolutely stunning! Doc Martens have always been a dream of mine, but I've never been able to afford them until now
4/5

And I'm 51 years old! br>br>In the last month, I have purchased four pairs of shoes that I have had to return. Because I was too tired to ship them back, I gave one of the pairs to my daughter. br>br>I couldn't find any that were appropriate. Normally, I wear a size 9, but the size 9s I purchased were enormous! In the various styles, I went down to a size 8 and found them to be far too tight. My toes felt like they were slammed into the toebox. I waited patiently. br>br> I looked and looked until I came across these lovely items. What the hell was I thinking? Maybe I'll give it another shot. If they were too big, I figured I could stuff them with inserts. br>br>I knew the eights would be too small, so I purchased the nines and hoped for the best. I couldn't believe it when they fit so well! I removed their insoles and replaced them with my own, which made them more comfortable for my arch. I can also tell that these will take some time to break in. They're a little stiff, to be honest. That dark cherry undertone, however, is one of my favorites. They're really lovely. br>br>Depending on how long it takes and how good they feel, I'll go back and change the star ratings I gave them after they've been broken in. They're a little stiff and uncomfortable right now. I'm hoping for a quick response.
