Selected User Reviews For Sperry Women's Saltwater Emboss Wool Boots
PLEASE READ (*excellent advice*): I had to return them because the left foot had a lump in the bottom of the shoe, which was a manufacturing defect. AND PLEASE PAUSE TO LISTEN CAREFULLY: If you ever need to return a shoe on Amazon, make sure it's for the same shoe. So that you don't get the same shoe shipped to you again, order your replacement shoe first. I was furious when it happened to me with this boot.
They fit well and are extremely comfortable, but the sperry label on the right foot is reversed. I'm not sure if it was a rip-off or simply bad luck.
Purchase is not recommended. I bought these boots because I thought they were cute and Sperry was a good brand, but they don't last. I bought them in August, but didn't wear them until late September/early October because it wasn't yet cold. The heels were worn out by late October/early November (as shown in the photo). I think this is ridiculous because I spent over $100 on these. I have a pair of less expensive boots that have lasted a lot longer. This is not at all the standard I had hoped for. I'm very dissatisfied with this purchase, and I'm not sure I'll buy from Sperry again.
I'm glad I read the reviews about the size because I could have gone a size smaller but they still fit perfectly. However, I would recommend going down a size.
I'm a size 12 in women's clothing. The 11 is a tad small, and the 12 is a tad large. This is helped by the fact that I wear thick socks with these boots. br>These boots are both stylish and practical. All I have to say in their favor is that. I'm 36 years old, and I don't buy low-cost footwear. I'm not one to play with my footwear. Uncomfortable = cheap. So, for around $90- I expect these shoes to be comfortable for the price (plus shipping). THESE ARE THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SHOES IN THE HISTORY OF SHOES. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER My feet, back, and legs were killing me by the time I went to bed one day after wearing them all day. I had to take ibuprofen to get through the next day because my feet and legs were in so much pain. I would have returned at that time, but I had only worn them for a day before realizing how uncomfortable they were. For these shoes, I'm thinking about getting insoles. These shoes left me feeling a little underwhelmed. Sperry should be able to deliver on his promises.
My feet stay warm and dry thanks to the fleece lining and waterproof putter rubber. I've worn these in the rain, snow, and light mud, and they're still going strong. I'm so glad they came in a large size. They're almost too big, but they look great with thick winter socks. They're well worth the money, and they match leggings nicely. I like the side zipper because it makes it easier to put on and take off and eliminates the need for laces.
To begin with, they were too big for a size 7; they were closer to an 8. Then I put them on, and when I go to adjust the leather laces, both shoes snap. I own seven pairs of Sperry shoes, and this is the first time I've been dissatisfied! I will retract my recommendations on these boots, as much as I like the look of them and have seen others wearing them and bragging about how I bought them!.
This pair of shoes is too big, and the side of the boot has a scratch. On the inside of the boot, one of the 3m tags was facing the wrong way up. Overall, I didn't get the impression that the boots were genuine Sperrys. I own three other pairs and figured it would be easier to get them from Amazon because the Sperry website didn't have them, but I won't be buying any more Sperry boots from Amazon.
