They are, in fact, non-skid. I use mine in a restaurant where the floors are frequently wet and the tile is slick.
No, it didn't sever the ankle or any other part of the body. Very relaxing.
My shoes have enough room for an orthopedic insert with arch support, which I used on a three-week trip to Europe and had no problems with. I'm 55 and have had problems with my arches for the past few years; these shoes have been a lifesaver.
Although there is no "heel" to measure, I can say that the shoes are extremely comfortable, and my feet are flat. That's a lot to say.

These shoes are perfect for me. I'm a pharmacist, and I've been standing for ten years. I've been working for 12 hours straight without sitting, and these shoes are exactly what I needed. They are light in weight and offer excellent support and cushioning. The only thing I wish these shoes had was more arch support, but I have a lot of Skechers and they don't usually have a lot of arch support. Overall, I would strongly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable all-day shoe!.
I was hesitant to buy it at first, but it turned out to be the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! I have problems with swelling, pain, and walking long distances when I'm on my feet for long periods of time. I bought these for a trip to Disney World, and the first time I wore them, I was able to walk and stand for 17 hours straight! It was as if I were walking on clouds. There is nothing on the shoe that can rub your foot! The soles are still in good shape, and they come in a wide fit; if you get a wide fit, order 1/2 size down or they may be too big. I'm a 9w, but all of my other shoes are 9 1/2 because they don't come in wide; in fact, when I first got these shoes, I thought the 9w would be too big, so I bought an 8. I tried the 5w and it was too small, so I went with the 9w. And once I got used to it, I realized it's not at all too big; in fact, it's just right! Don't be afraid to give it a try!.
These are incredible. I'm on my feet for 5 to 9 hours a day, so I needed a sneaker that could keep up with me. I'd seen and read advertisements and reviews claiming that Sketchers were the way to go. That is not a lie in the least. I had a minor injury to my Hallux toe (Big toe), but it didn't bother me. br>br>Now, aside from the fact that you feel as if you're walking on clouds, there are a few drawbacks. br>br>Normally, I wear an 8 in sneakers, but I had to go up to an 8. After reading the reviews, I gave it a rating of five stars. I don't have a wide foot, so the toe box was a little tight when I first put them on. So, if you have a medium-sized foot, keep this in mind. I would recommend going wide if you have a larger foot, just to be safe with the toe box. The inserts are fixed in place and cannot be removed. It's glued to the bottom, so if you need to replace them, just be aware that you'll have to pull to get them out. br>br>Even though this was my first order with this company, I took a chance and ordered both the black with white bottom and the black with black bottom. For people who are on their feet all day, this was WORTH IT. Plus, they're adorable.
I've spent my entire life on hard concrete, and these shoes are extremely comfortable and wide. I've been wearing them for a few days. So far, everything has gone well!.
I would say this one is a little wider than the average wide width. It's super comfortable and looks great! I'm going to put them to the test since this is my first day wearing them, but so far I'm really happy with them!.
I work mostly as a cashier in the retail industry. For several hours at a time, I stand in one place, occasionally walking around and stocking things, but mostly just standing. At first, I wore vans and converse until I realized how sore my feet were after an eight-hour shift. I chose these after searching for comfortable shoes that didn't cost more than a hundred dollars. br>br>And I'm so glad I did! They're stylish and incredibly comfy. It makes me wonder why I've been wearing shoes that aren't exactly comfortable for so long. They were so cute that I wore them out with my regular clothes when I wasn't working. My prejudice against sketchers as a brand for dorky adults or elementary school students is crumbling thanks to these shoes. These are my new favorite pair of shoes because I'm a trendy young adult. br>br>I wear a size 7 in Converse Chuck Taylors (5 in men's) and a size 7 in Vans. For these, I went up a half size because I planned on wearing really thick socks with them for extra cushioning. It's a fantastic combination! Sore feet aren't a thing with these thick socks.
These are a comfortable shoe to wear, but the sole is something I'm not sure about. It has a slicker feel than all of my other Skechers, with a "fuzz" on the toe and heel. I'm a little worried that they'd be slick on a wet tile floor. br>br>I've used these a few times now. If it were possible, the rating on the shoe's sole would be a zero star, at least for me. On non-carpeted surfaces, they are extremely slick. I'm not sure I'd buy them again, and I'm sorry I kept them.
These shoes are perfect for me. They're very light, which I like. On my feet, they are extremely comfortable. These were purchased for the spring 2018 semester of cosmetology school. I tried on several pairs of shoes before deciding on these. I'm a size 8 and there's plenty of room in the toe box. I have the option of wearing a thicker sock. At the bottom of the shoes, the sole has a velvety feel and provides skid resistance.
