They have a small size. Because they offer 1/2 sizes, I recommend going up a 1/2 size. That is something I would have done if I had known about it at the time. Because the price had increased, I returned it but did not buy it again.
I bought a new treadmill and, for the first time in my life, I developed pain in one of my knees out of nowhere. I assumed my old shoes were worn out and needed to be replaced, and that the new treadmill was less shock absorbing than my old one. br>br>I experienced the same knee pain while walking along a greenway (black asphalt) alongside a river that rolls up and down with the natural terrain. As a result, I took a break from my 5-mile run to rest my knee. 2 miles every day of the week These shoes were ordered after I started doing powerwalks. br>br>After resting the knee and wearing these shoes - for whatever reason - Knee pain is no longer an issue. I was even able to pick up the pace and gradually increase the speed of my treadmill walking to a faster pace - 4 to 3. I believe these shoes provided me with the support, shock absorption, and protection I required to reduce overall stress on my knees. I'm about to turn 65, and I'm not on any prescription medications, nor do I have any knee, hip, or joint pain. Having a great time!
I have flat feet and almost always wear walking shoes, so it provides adequate support. These are extremely comfortable for me!
I just tried on a pair of these in a store to see what size I needed because this is the first time I've tried this brand. In athletic shoes, I usually purchase a size ten. However, the 10 was too small for me, and my toe ended up on the end of the shoe. My foot was swimming in them because they were too big. As a result, I went to Amazon to place an order for the tenth. I gave it a 5 because I couldn't find the 12 size anywhere.

Now is the time to purchase them. This pair of shoes has been extremely beneficial to me. In addition, I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet/fallen arches. This has been a problem for me for the past three years. It's been a calamitous situation. Physical therapy has helped me a lot. In that time, I've bought (and returned) about 40 pairs of shoes and 13 pairs of insoles, to the point where I can barely stand, and I'm also dealing with other physical issues. Hips are weak because of a bad spine. I'm in my thirties, by the way. br>br>They do a fantastic job of keeping my heels in place. For solid stability, I highly recommend them. I was surprised that they didn't require a lot of extra arch support to feel right. It had something to do with the consistency. I'm trying to keep my balance by not moving my feet. Now I'm able to walk! I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of these shoes. I'm not a big fan of running shoes. However, I've become more fond of them as a result of my desperation. They're known as my beta fish shoes because they have an aquatic look to them. br>br>At the moment, I'm wearing two pairs of shoes. If you're in the same boat as me and are looking for answers, Alegria's Essence has been a godsend. I've regained my ability to walk once more.
The soles wore out in less than two months, despite the fact that it was a comfortable shoe. Is it possible that it's only designed to be used on treadmills? I went for a 12-kilometer walk. 15 miles per week on asphalt bike paths and cement sidewalks from January 19 to February 28. 3/3 of the way through the sole, I've already worn down the outer layer. I'm not going to be able to get the usual 300 miles out of these.
I ordered a wide width and a regular size, and they fit perfectly!.
My Rykas are the best! These are without a doubt the best tennis shoes I've ever owned. My feet, ankles, and knees are severely affected by Rheumatoid Arthritis, which I have. THANK YOU RYKA for making these shoes that allow me to walk for a full day with little discomfort.
It has excellent cushioning. I expected to find the usual heavy, Frankenstein-like creature when I opened the box because I have wide feet. such as shoes No so! These are both visually appealing and lightweight. They have a large toe box, but they perfectly cradle the instep and heel. It has excellent cushioning. The uppers are made of a light mesh, which I believe will keep you cool during the summer. When the temperature drops below freezing, however, they are not the best shoes to wear. In these conditions, I can feel the cold. I purchased my usual size (9 wide) and they were a perfect fit. They're fantastic.
I'm a cashier in a very busy supermarket, so I'm on my feet all day on a concrete floor, standing on a fatigue mat, and my legs haven't been tired yet when I get home! , or when I'm standing in line at the cash register! The only drawback is that the laces can be difficult to lace through the slits because they are not holes. I ordered my usual size 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly; there's about a quarter-inch of room and I can wiggle my toes, so they're perfect for me. I also use them to walk up and down hills, and they're comfortable and functional; hopefully, they won't wear out too quickly because I use them every day. I used to have skechers with memory foam, but they broke down way too quickly; hopefully, these won't, and I'll update in a few months to let you know if they're still great!.
Normally, I wear a size 8 when I go to work. Because my feet are wide, I ordered a size 9. They're a size 5 just to be safe, and they're very comfortable. They have just a smidgeon of extra room at the toes, but they fit my feet perfectly. Because the top fabric is mesh, you should avoid wearing these in the rain or snow because your socks will become wet very quickly. They have a lot of bounce in their soles. I think I'll be able to wear them for at least eight hours. Even after the first few uses, the battery lasts for 9 hours. I can't say how long they'll last, but I'll keep you updated as they wear out: )br>br>Recently updated: I've had them for 6 months and they're still in good condition. They don't have any holes, but they do show signs of normal wear. I've been wearing them almost every day, and my feet are starting to hurt as the day progresses. I'm considering purchasing a new pair because the sole padding appears to be deteriorating.
I've been wearing Ryka for a long time. For years, I have walked an average of three miles per day. My Rykas never need to be broken in. I put these on for the first time this morning and went for a three-mile walk. NOTE: This is a 5-mile run in comfort and support. On my last three pairs, I went up a half size.
