It appears to have good arch support; I tape my arches as well for added support, but the shoes appear to be in good condition.
That's what I believe. I've had foot surgeries and walk a lot, so these are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet.

These were purchased for our daughter, who works as a special education middle school teacher and is on her feet for the majority of the day. They appeal to her greatly; For over ten years, we've bought her two pairs of shoes every year. She isn't interested in dating anyone else. As a result, I'd say these last a long time and are very comfortable. I'm not sure if it's for shock absorption from running or something else.

Great shoes in terms of style, fit, and quality, but they have a problem with slick soles when wet. Be cautious if you are "of a certain age. " For a few weeks before we had rain, I wore the shoes for walks and shopping. Everything seemed to be fine. Then it rained heavily, and after sloshing across the Walmart parking lot and into the store, I slipped several times inside (the floor was dry, but the bottom of my shoe remained slick). It's as if there's a gap between the treads (which appear to be adequate-) on the ball of the foot. I believe it's the area between the treads that's slick. I've also slipped on my own kitchen floor several times after walking outside on wet leaves, etc. , and while my first pair of Easy Spirit sneakers were completely reliable in this regard, I'll only wear them in dry weather now. I would have returned them if I hadn't worn them for at least two weeks.
My left heel has planter fasciitis, and my left toes are numb. I was barely able to walk when I got home from work because of something I had just gone through. I fractured my right ankle three months ago. Why didn't I just break the "bad" foot? I reasoned that now would be a good time to heal the left one. I've been back to work for two weeks now, and while the broken right side is doing great, the bad left side is still hurting. I had heard of Easy Spirit shoes and decided to look into them. They were just as expensive as the "good" shoes I'd been buying for years, and I was desperate for some relief, so I figured it was worth a shot. HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, Normally, I have to break shoes in, but these shoes felt as if the clouds parted and the sun shone down on me throughout my shift! I had read that neuropathy could be caused by wearing too tight shoes, so I always buy wide shoes, but these Easy Spirit shoes made my toes feel great, and I never had to take off my shoes to check if my socks were bunched up (compression socks are NEVER bunched up). I purchased the wide ones, which felt wider than the wide ones from another brand but did not appear to be wider. From now on, I will only buy Easy Spirit products, and I am ecstatic!.
These shoes are extremely attractive. I work in a garment factory and spend the majority of my time on my feet. I've owned a number of pairs of shoes that have completely destroyed my feet. This is fantastic! To be honest, I'm overweight, which exacerbates my problems with my feet. I'm on a diet, but there's still a lot of weight to lose before my feet aren't affected. So you can tell they aren't breathable just by looking at the picture. I knew that when I bought them, and while they work well in cold weather, they can get quite hot. They're also a little heavy, which is difficult for someone who is on their feet for the majority of the day. They do, however, provide a level of comfort to your feet that makes it worthwhile on occasion. Depending on how my feet feel, I switch between these and my skechers. Skechers are much more light and airy. These shoes, on the other hand, are of such high quality that they will undoubtedly outlast my Skechers. They're also quite lovely! I have wide feet, so I ordered an 8W and they fit perfectly; I've discovered that switching these out with my other pair makes a big difference! My feet are much more comfortable now. I would highly recommend these shoes because I will buy another pair when they wear out! Easy Spirit shoes, particularly the "Regine" walking shoes, are among my favorites. I tried this "Romy" style instead because I couldn't find them in black on Amazon. I put them on as soon as they arrived, and they were fantastic! I went for a walk around the neighborhood and thought to myself, "Wow, what a nice pair of shoes. " That night, however, I was in excruciating pain in my left big toe, which had developed a blister on the top of it. My left foot is *slightly* smaller than my right, so it didn't make any sense. However, I assumed that this was due to the shoes "breaking in," and that it wouldn't happen often. br>br>Each time I put these shoes on (maybe once a week? ), they would initially feel fine, but my left big toe would ache like crazy throughout the day! I finally figured it out today, August 7th: THE SHOES COME IN TWO SIZE RANGES! Eeks! And I'm left scratching my head, wondering why, oh why, I didn't see this coming. After comparing the two side by side, I discovered that the right one is 1/4" longer than the left. It's no surprise that my left foot hurt so much as a result of these things. br>br>And I'm one day past the "return" date, which was August 6th. My bad. I simply did not put the shoes on every day. To the tune of $50, this was a pricey lesson to learn. I wish I had realized this sooner, but I wasn't expecting Easy Spirit to combine two different sizes into one Size 10.
When I was escorting an 8th grade class to Disneyland in 2006, this shoe saved my life. After putting on a brand-new pair for that 5-mile run, After my day trip, I returned home and purchased two more identical pairs on sale, which I stored for future use. About a year ago, I threw out my first pair of Romys. They'd been my grunge work shoes for a long time, and the soles were almost completely worn out. In the meantime, I was wearing the first of my backup pairs on a daily basis. Since then, those shoes have become my go-to grunge pair, and I'm currently rocking the second back-up pair. for a better pair- occasions in which you should dress up I recently purchased a fourth pair to ensure that I will never be without my favorite walking/living shoes. They're extremely comfortable and will last a long time if you use them frequently.
I try new things every now and then, but nothing compares to the comfort of these shoes RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX; They don't need to be broken in at all. Because I suffer from plantar fasciitis, I wear orthotics in my shoes. Another advantage is that I don't have to remove the insole to accommodate my orthotics. I can't recommend these shoes highly enough, regardless of whether or not you have foot problems. They've come through for me time and time again. As I write this, I'm wearing a brand new pair of black Romy's that I just put on; I've had them on for weeks and they're still going strong - They're just that cozy. I don't think you'll find a more comfortable, well-equipped hotel room for the money. shoe that has been created.
