The shoe does not offer much arch support on its own, but it takes insoles well from Fleet Feet. After 3 months, I was able to get rid of my severe Plantar Fasciitis. I've been wearing these new Saucony sneakers (which replaced previous Sauconys) for a week and my foot has not been hurting at all. Combining these shoes with insoles is a winning combination. Since I have worn Saucony shoes for years, this is the first time I have had an issue with their Three days was the maximum amount of time I wore these. For the first couple days, my foot was fairly comfortable. But by the third day, I was experiencing pain in my foot. I am not excited about this first pair of sneakers from Sacouny. The girls were really looking forward to going with me on my trip, but I am not able to do so. It had not even been a full month since I bought these sneakers, and I was really disappointed about the condition of them. I love the price, but I guess you get what you pay for. Despite normal wear, there are already some holes in the side. I have no doubt that it will still be wearable but not for much longer than a year. The rating has been changed from 4 stars to 5. The new shoes are fantastic! In early April 2021, I bought the exact model and size of the shoe I currently possess. Upon receiving the shoes, I was surprised to find that (1) the size had changed and (2) the tread on the sole was significantly less durable than I anticipated. In the past, I needed a 7-1/2 shoe, even though I normally wear a size 7 There is a 1/2 width in these Saucony running shoes. In this case, it is a 7-digit number It felt snug to wear a half size. The new size 8 was too big, so I exchanged it for the previous size 8. The fit is no longer perfect and the tread will not last far as long as it once did. I kept the shoes in size 8 because I really needed them, but I'm dissatisfied with the tread and the fit no longer feels perfect. I'll be looking at a different brand for my next purchase.
Trail running shoes from Saucony are my absolute favorite. My TR11 and TR12 are alternating daily with walks to earn me the most calories. These are what I use every other day when I walk from 500 to 700 There are 7 miles between these places. The toe box is roomy and they fit perfectly. I find it disappointing that these broke after only two weeks as shown in the photos. While I was able to sew the piece back together by hand, the quality was disappointing. Saucony is aware of this issue, and has since fixed it with later versions of the TR12. The laces on the TR12 are through holes, so this is likely a quality issue in the TR12.
