Questions & Answers

Do these have taps already installed, and if so, are they flat or jingle taps?

Yes. They've already been cleaned. tapped. These are theatrical tap shoes that are rubberized and come with a flat tap and screws that are separated from the shoe by a dense black plastic piece. If you're serious about tapping professionally, however, you'll want to invest in LaDuca or Miller and Ben taps. The taps on these shoes were tinny, they didn't stretch well, and the two shoes were literally shaped differently when I ordered them. One had a pointed toe, while the other had a rounded toe. Very odd. However, they'll suffice for a couple of amateur shows or a class.

I'm looking for a pair of shoes with a 2 inch heel height. 5 or 3. How tall is this shoe's heel? In the answers below, I'm getting a variety of responses. ?

We received a pair that was 2 1/2 inches long. the length of your heels

Is it possible for me to turn off the water supply?

That had never occurred to me. Yes, but I'd take them to a shoe repair shop and let him do it because the sole might need to be repaired. I hope this information is useful.

It's a great fit and has a nice tone to it
4/5

I adore these young ladies. They have a fantastic feel and sound to them. I like the flared heel because it provides more stability and a more resonant sound. br>br>After having your standard character taps with a 1, these took some getting used to. The heel is 5 inches tall. I'm 5'2" tall with tiny baby feet (5. 25 inches). 5). It's a challenge to walk with such a high heel. I used to teach tap there, and after three 45-minute classes in a row, I was exhausted. br>br>I wouldn't recommend these for long periods of teaching or rehearsal, but they are sexy and sound great. This is unquestionably an outstanding show shoe!.

Rubber Metatarsal Plate, Classic Tap Shoes, Good Quality This is a stunning pair of shoes! They're the third pair of Capezio tap shoes I've purchased
5/5

The value for money is unbeatable. I ordered them because I've grown up with the brand, I like the fit, and they seem to last a long time. The leather and arch support have been improved, and they look great on the foot. My street shoe size is 9 and I ordered a ten. 5 to 10. I haven't tried them with socks or tights yet, but I expect them to be a tight fit, so I'm undecided about what to recommend because they don't appear to loosen all that much. A 10. 5 is a bit excessive. Instead of using old Capezio dance shoe sizes (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g, I'm an 8 in my old shoes, which are probably a foot light junior model). The bottoms of these shoes are rubberized. I was not aware of this, and it irritates me greatly, but it is present in all of them unless you customize the non-customized non-customized non-customized non-customized non-customized non-customized non-customized This is a tap-based version. br>Recent changes: These received a five out of five rating from me. Finally, a star. After you've tapped the non- Stop for the last three days; they've loosened up and are feeling great. I can wear them with a thick, thin, or even a thin wool sock, the latter of which has really helped my feet warm up and mold the shoe. The heel cup digs a little, but that was the case with my other capezios as well. I'm softening them by pressing down on them with each heel as I put them on and off, and it's working. The linings are particularly appealing. The curling footbeds of the past are no longer in use!.

For the money, this is a great shoe! I needed new tap shoes because the ones I had were worn out
5/5

wore for 6 hours After 7 years, the seams and the area around the big toe nail began to fall apart. br>br>I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I was planning on having custom shoes made by Miller. Ben, they aren't doing much in the way of tradition right now. br>br>* Because the rubber on the sole near the tap was muffled, I took them to a shoemaker and had the first section removed. It sounds a lot better. If you do this, be cautious. In the dance studio, I slipped and almost fell to the floor, but I was fine once I got going. It was my fault, but I wish the front tap had less rubber. Capezio suggested that you visit a general shoe repair shop. It's a good thing there are still a few! br>* In order to make the ankle straps tighter around my ankle, I need to add another hole. br>* They're a little tight in the toe box on my left foot, but my toe area is wider than my heels, so they'll be fine once they've fully broken in. br>br>I'm still getting used to dancing in the higher heel, but they sound great and look great, too!.

Right out of the box, they were a perfect fit! Hasn't danced in years, and my granddaughters wanted me to teach them, so I figured I'd better get my own because the ones they play with are too small
5/5

These were a perfect fit right out of the box. I could not believe my eyes. It didn't take long for my feet to return to their old rhythms. The sound quality is excellent. If only my old ENERGY came in a box as well!.

A few pointers
4/5

Purchase a larger size. No joke. If you get a smaller size by accident, you can stretch them out by putting on thick socks and then blowing on the tight spots with a hairdryer. Continue to wear them until they've cooled completely. This is what I did, and while it was painful, it was effective. You'll have to spread it out over several days to keep the shape, but they're nice shoes. If you're a beginner tapper, the taps can be quite quiet. Because the rubber on the bottom of the shoe is thicker than the tap, you may want to file it down to the point where it and the tap are flush if you aren't good at truly isolating those ankle muscles. You don't want to remove the rubber because it will cause your foot to stand in an uncomfortable position- The ball of your foot would be higher than your toe. br>Excellent footwear. Excellent taste in fashion.

I am overjoyed
5/5

After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to purchase these shoes, but I'm glad I did. I have four other pairs of tap shoes to compare these to, and they fit me perfectly. For an hour or so, I find them easy to dance in and comfortable, though I expect them to get better as they break in. I did begin with a 20-minute time limit. To get used to them, start with 30-minute sessions. Because I don't tighten the strap, I don't have the problem of the shoe pulling up across my foot that others have experienced. Because these shoes are so comfortable on my foot, the strap is almost unnecessary and can be fastened lightly.

Exactly what I needed
5/5

I usually wear a size 8 1/2 and occasionally a size 9. I placed an order for a size 8 1/2. These are the perfect fit! They're more of a foundation than previous character/ballroom-based games. I've owned a pair of these tap shoes in the past. Capezio is of much higher quality than it was in the 1980s. These are solid, high-quality items. I'm overjoyed! I'm wearing them without socks to get a feel for them. Let's see how things turn out. That will most likely stretch the leather out a little. I'd start with thin socks because I really like these shoes.

Ehh
3/5

Tap shoes that are both comfortable and attractive are extremely difficult to come by. I looked everywhere on the internet and couldn't find anything. The issue appears to be: 1. They're always a tad on the small side - What is the reason for this? Why can't they make the sizes the same as the rest of the world's shoes? Almost all styles are UGLY. Only two are available. There are three color options: black, icky beige, and nauseating old mannequin beige. They are either cheaply made and expensive, moderately made and expensive, or well made but still extremely ugly and costly. br>br>I placed an order for three pairs. The leather on the first pair was cut. The next two have strange pinching points on each foot, but I went with the larger size because I needed something before class ended. br>br>I used to have an identical pair (same brand) that I bought for ballroom dancing years ago and they were like slippers. I'll probably keep these for outside performances and keep looking.
