The pointe shoes I need to wear have a moderate degree of stretch satin ribbons. The ribbons appear to have a moderate stretch. ?

My daughter uses these ribbons to support her pointe shoes and she likes how comfortable they are. It is not the elastic itself that provides a tight stretch, but rather the ribbon it is wrapped in to flex during pointe.

I would not wear this because it is too stretchy, but it is fine if you like it I can live with this

When I was a child, ballet ribbons did not stretch. It never occurred to me to dislike the squeeze around the ankles look but I just figured it was part of the deal, so when I returned to ballet I was eager to try these shoes. In future, I would like to go with ribbons that only have a small piece of elastic attached to them. They match my shoes perfectly, and they are stretchy as promised. The ribbons are so thin that I feel like I have to wrap them around really tight because they are so stretchy, and that causes my ankles to bulge. This will result in the line unraveling. In addition, because they are more stretchy, more sewing is required to keep them from falling My taste is fine with them, but I just do not enjoy them.

With a stretch for your Achilles tendon, this ribbon is ideal for pointe! These ribbons are very sturdy and can be used for pointe work

The ribbon has the appearance of a conventional ribbon, but has the stretch necessary to accommodate the Achilles A great product. I will always use the stretch ribbon in my projects and Bloch is.

My favorite thing about these ribbons is their texture. There is no doubt that they are of excellent A beautiful and soft fabric. As soon as you sew them onto your shoes, they are extremely comfortable. There is something special about these ribbons. Your shoes will also look great if you use the loop method. This will be my second purchase of these.
