Product Description

A leather made entirely of leather
Accessed by Import
The soles are made of leather
The triple-stacked heel and the double-stacked hard leather sole make this shoe very durable
The dancer must modify the screws that hold the taps in place so that they don't loosen unless bonding is specifically developed to prevent this
An Oxford style in luxurious soft grain leather is available
This solution is designed to engage the flat surface of a tap plate most effectively
Between the tap and leather outsole, there is a resonance plate of quality steel which creates an exquisite sound with depth and pitch. You should order one full size bigger than you would normally wear. An unusual, short break-in time for a built-up tap shoe. The toe box is counter-free so that the upper conforms to the foot for enhanced comfort and fit.

Questions & Answers

The soles of these shoes are full soles or split soles?

for three hours a week and I would have to buy a new pair of shoes for her every year because hers were wearing out so fast. Our decision to buy a more serious shoe has been made now that her foot has stopped growing. They fit perfectly even though we went up a half size from her regular street shoes. The last pair of shoes she wore were split so she had to get accustomed to a full sole again, but that didn't take too It is often said that she always receives compliments on how her shoes look at master classes or auditions since they have a "thicker" more hollow sound. Due to her concern that they would be too heavy, we were hesitant to buy on line. There was no basis for that fear. No matter what weight you are, it does not matter. I hope you find this helpful and best wishes in your decision making!

Would it be a mistake to order a size 7nc when that is my shoe size? Would it have been better for me if I went ?

Marie I do not know what the "NC" stands for, but I will try to answer is as best as I can. As of the size 6 of my body, I am 5'9" tall. My left foot is about an inch bigger than a size 5, so a 5 medium shoe would be most appropriate. A pair of dance shoes that fits like a glove is what I prefer. I have the right shoe that fits perfectly and the left shoe is a bit tight but not so tight that it makes it impossible for me to What will ultimately determine whether you like your tap shoes snug or not is how tight you like them. As you can tell, this oxford style is quite stiff, and I'm still trying to get used to it!

The shoe size of my son is 3 years old and he wears an 8. Would someone be so kind as to tell me what size I should get ?

men's model runs a half size larger than your regular street shoe. The women's model runs a half size smaller than your regular When you want small sizes, you should go with the women's model. If your size is 4, that would be your And so on.

Can you tell me what the black piece is ?

Two of them should be present. Pads to prevent slipping. The bottom grips your feet so that you don't slide. Having a shoemaker do mine was a pleasant experience. The adhesive they are using is the right type.

It does not appear to be authentic
3/5

This is not an authentic copy The merchandise is a knock-off. There was no box when it arrived, indicating it had probably been The insides of the photos did not have the signature seen in the image, and the overall quality was poor. A large amount of white glue appeared to have leaked onto the black shoe at several areas. It was incredible to find that there was such a difference from ordering directly from the manufacturer. It is great to be able to order from Amazon, and I usually receive my order quickly However, there is definitely a problem with these You won't be able to get them here, so don't waste your time and money.

It is untrue
3/5

I can assure you that these shoes are definitely not Jsams. As seen, there's no signature on the inside of the shoe, and there is no indication on the box that Jason Samuel Smith has owned it. It's just Bloch plain and simple. A full refund was requested after ordering twice and returning for a Such a huge disappointment!.

This is a very supportive company that makes a good investment if you intend to tap its resources
5/5

My job is just tap dancing, I don't really do anything fancy due to back pain, but I can do a lot more with The $60 tap shoes I used to have had a full sole provided they were regular tap shoes. It was after my son accidentally threw out my old ones that I decided to replace them (they were in a grocery bag after recital, boys I've seen my dance teacher and more pro dancers at my studio wearing these. They're really nice and you won't have to buy another pair. figured I would do it, treat myself, and be the best that I could be. My life is better now because I did this. This shoe has a larger front area where the laces are, so the shoe is higher than a typical There is more padding as well. Since they are heavier than regular shoes, it took a few classes for my feet to adjust, but my taps sound louder and crisper now. For toe stands, they seem more stable and more reliable (though the larger toe box did require a bit of adjustment). My only concern is that I'm not sure how long they'll last, but I'm very glad I spent more on them. As a result, I tried two smaller sizes because I got really confused by the size chart. I ended up sizing up to the same size as my Bloch full soles. They do need to be broken in however, as they are one size larger than running shoes.

What an awesome pair of Tap shoes of this quality are the best! They are very heavy duty and of excellent It's great to hear the music on these! Sounds that are very sharp and loud
5/5

There is a bit of a size difference. The size 7 is normally my size. Street shoes usually fit size 5 to 8 and I had to get a few sizes in order to find The size 8 that I ended up with was perfect for me. Despite being a size 5, these tap shoes fit snug (just the way I wanted them to). A pair of thin socks can still be worn When I first got them, the toe area was a bit tight, but they've grown in since then and are now more The rubber soles are not attached to the shoes. Since I was not equipped to be a professional, I chose not to attach them to my shoes (because I did not know how to do it and I did not want to pay someone more). Although I've gotten used to sliding without them, there's definitely more sliding without them. Due to this, I do notice that my balls of my feet are quite sore shortly after dancing. The overall look of these shoes is great! The glasses have been with me about two years now, and they are still wonderful. As well as the black ones, I am considering a white pair! This is a shoe you will not regret buying!.

There is no comparison between Jason Samuels Smith Tap Shoes and anybody else!! My BLOCH Jason Samuels Smith Tap Shoes match my outfit perfectly! I love how they fit! A black pair of shoes was ordered for me
5/5

According to my measurements, I wear a size 9 in street shoes. In the JSAMS, I tried on a 9 1/2 and a 10. It was way too big at the toes on the 10. Although the 9 1/2 was form-fitting, it was not tight. In my toe box, the tip of my big toe stops not too far from the end. As a result, you will need to go up one half size because you do not want your tap shoes to be too large. The toe area can be stretched if your shoe fits in all the right areas except that it rubs your toes. You can break the shoe in to avoid this or bring it to the cobbler. Because the leather is such a soft material, it won't take long for the shoes to break in. Upon walking on the foot, you will feel the inside to be soft and luxurious. As a result of this shoe being heavier, you will notice that it is much heavier than the last shoe you wore. With my new tap sound, I've never heard sounds like this before! A quality pair of tap shoes that will last and sound great is what you need if you are serious about tap dancing. There is a shoe for you here!.

Shoes that are excellent for tap dancing
5/5

There is something beautiful about this read some other reviews that said they're fake, that the laces are missing, etc, but the pair I got is authentic and has the Bloch signature. You'll want to size up, I'm sure. In street shoes, I usually wear a 7 (or 37 in european sizing) and a 4 in Dr Martens. The size 7 I ordered is the best fit for me. It fits snugly if you are a size 5. It is probably true that I could have ordered an 8 and it would also fit, but I have an issue with heel slipage and sloppiness with my current shoes, so I'm happy with a pair of white shoes that fit snugly and stay in place. Besides being good-looking, the leather is of good quality, they are comfortable, and they sound good. This is the path I wish I had taken from the beginning. In order to dance well, one must feel comfortable.

It was disappointing
3/5

Then, after one of my colleagues let me borrow her brand new JSams for class, I fell in love, so I paid $170 dollars for these brand new shoes that did not even have The size chart said to get one size up, so I did, because that's what fit me when I was wearing Shoes that are both a little big and have no laces slide off the backs of my ankles because they are too big and It seems to be quite painful to dance in them, too. I'm not sure if they just need to break in or what. In order to practice a combo, I had to take them off after just a few minutes. The sound of this shoe is pretty much the only thing that makes it good. So I've left a review in hopes that the seller will see it. I'm trying to contact the seller, but I'm having no luck so far.

This shoe's leather is super soft and the shoe itself is incredibly durable
5/5

My job as a dance teacher is made easier by the zero break policy It will take time for these shoes to be made. This shoe's leather is super soft and the shoe itself is incredibly durable. There are separate patches for the non-slip soles, and I like that. There is, however, a need to size things The size of my street shoe is typically an 8 (US women's). Sometimes I wear an I would prefer a 5 if I wanted the toe space to be more spacious. A pair of tap shoes that fits like a glove is what I prefer. With socks on, they fit perfectly in a size 9. They are great shoes and I'm very happy with them. Unlike student shoes, they can be used as an intermediate step in a pro shoe's career.
