The size 8 is my shoe size. Normally I wear a size 5, but I ordered an These shoes have a rating of 5. Nonetheless, I also ordered a Bloch Jason Samuels 8 in a different color pattern. My size 5 turned out to be too small, so I had to go up to a size When ordering the flex sole, just choose the size of your street shoes.
This pair of shoes has not scuffed the dance floor due to their quality construction.
No, I don't think so
It would be best to search the Bloch website or speak with a local dance store to start with.

It's my first time taking tap dance classes in 58 years that I am 65 years old. Well-being is very important to me The perspective of having foot problems discouraged me when I faced this challenge, but I put these shoes on and started a vigorous workout anyway. Despite the fact that I needed to get an orthotic after purchasing these shoes, the shoe provided me with all of the support I needed. Two pairs of shoes, one name brand, and the other two from different retailers did the It was this shoe that won without a doubt. I made no attempt to be funny. I put these to the test and they passed with flying colors.
I really like the way these shoes feel! Although I love how flexible they are in the middle, I feel it's important to warn you of this. need to be able to do toe stands, these shoes won't allow you to do that! They are called "tap-taps" because they tap the ground when they walk The reason for the "flex" is because the soles of the shoes are not hard or firm like other types of shoes. This is an interesting feature on the shoe, but keep in mind the fact that these will bend in the middle and cannot support you if you try to stand on your toes. As close as they can be compared to dancing shoes with taps on the bottom, they sound like ballet shoes.
The Bloch Women's Tap Shoes were my initial purchase as I am a beginner in tap. The Flex Tap Shoe is 5 inches wide in my street size. It is 5Mb). The Capezio Women's Flex Master Tap shoe in a size 6 proved to be too tight, so I ordered a size larger. I found the Bloch to fit better, thus I returned the Capezio, even though both brands fit well. There is nothing wrong with either shoe, and they both sound good. As an example, here's what I mean The Loch Tape-Bloch Tape- It is flexible Please note
This shoe is more like an Oxford, with a ball at the back and a taper toward the toes-- Upper is made of soft leather. In comparison with the Capezio, the flex sole is stiffer right out of the box. With just a couple of weeks, there has been more flexibility while still being able to provide support.
- In the Achilles tendon area at the back of the shoe, there is no stitching surrounding the support. It was a bit frictional around the edges of the support, but nothing that wouldn't be improved by a pair of socks. Please note
The short laces were nice. Capezio Flex master Even if they come loose, they don't put you at risk of tripping over them. Please note
There is a difference in shape. I feel and look like a ballet shoe mounted on heels, and it looks a little like one too. . From the moment you open the package, the jacket is very soft and flexible. It was too soft and flexible for me, because it was easy for the edge of the heel to seep I thought the feeling would become less distracting with time, but it was something I couldn't get used to. Please note
In place of the top of the arch, the heel extends forward to be about as long as the front of the shoe. In shoes that are larger in size, this may not be a problem. There was a long distance between the heel and the arch of the Bloch shoe. Please note
Comfortable at the heel but stops just past the arch, the blue insole is made from leather. It appeared on the inside that the toe and ball areas are unfinished and I felt the transitions with It is my hope that this.
Shoes that are fantastic. The majority of my clothing is size 6, except for a couple of items. It's pretty normal for my feet to be like this My insteps/arches are not affected by bunions or any other issue. The feet I have don't vary in width to the point that I have to order wide sizes, but I dislike pointy shoes because they always feel like they are pinching my toes, so maybe they are a bit wider there. Since there have been many varying opinions about sizing, I will try to be as specific as possible about how big my feet are. As a result of reading all of the reviews, I decided to order a size 6 instead of going up a half size. I am between 5 and It was okay for me to buy a half size larger than the normal size because my class is starting soon, and I don't have time to exchange them
I felt more comfortable in the half size larger than the normal size. From the first minute you put them on, they felt soft and comfortable. The socks I wear with them are very thin nylon ones A pair of pantyhose may be twice as thick as a pair of tights. Some people raise the issue of the short laces, but I have no problems tying them and they stay in place. It seems to me that there is a reason for this, and I am guessing that it is mostly due to sloppy looking laces. It is easily possible to replace the short laces with longer ones if you are bothered by the short The smell of these shoes was also mentioned by other people (some of the ladies in my class have these shoes and have complained about them). The odor is not perceptible to me personally The only real effect is when you stick your foot right up to your face. As long as your feet are not next to someone's nose and you are on the floor, you should be fine. There is probably a smell from whatever chemicals were used to dye the fabrics.
I would say they run true to size. My daughters are sized 8 and they both need 8 in these shoes as they stretch to accommodate the shape of your feet with use. These shoes will stretch comfortably to conform to your foot shape with usage, so do not oversized them. Even though one daughter has very narrow feet and the other has thick feet, they still both fit in size This will cause them to It is unfortunate that I followed some of the reviews and chose to buy "upsize" as a gift, and now I am exchanging it for her true size. Thanks for your assistance.
I tried to get the cheapest tap shoes I could find because I wasn't sure whether I would stick with it, and I regret it almost right away. Halfway through class, my feet were sore and I had to remove the insole. The sole, however, was stiff and made my feet ache. In the meantime, I had been looking for some better shoes, so I tried on a pair of Blochs at a dance store two years later. My old shoes were so uncomfortable! These were so much more comfortable! In spite of the price tag of $90, the trip wasn't going to happen A tap class is offered every week. My old shoes were awful and I was able to find similar shoes on Amazon for a bit over half the cost. This shoe has a split sole that lets it move more easily, a lining that provides more comfort, and taps that are slightly I also like how the leather upper is softer and more flexible, so that they better fit my foot. The cheaper models would not compare to them.
