I was both a fencing coach and competitor. All of those things helped, but ultimately didn't completely save my toes. I tried better shoes, different socks, multiple socks, etc etc etc. Then I bought these, and since then, I haven't lost a toenail! My only complaint about these is that the elastic band is way too narrow and has a bad habit of digging into my skin, so I decided to buy a backup pair so I can try swapping the elastic out. I find the design to be very simple, but it just works and that's all I need from them.

Straps that are not working

Our first order was over a year ago and we were extremely happy with their quality. Earlier this month, we ordered the second pair. Opening the package, we realized that the elastic straps were not sewn in correctly and were twisted, which is uncomfortable for the user and prevents the shoe from being secured The size was also off, which was another thing we noticed. Even though our size was the same, this new pair was larger than the old pair.

I couldn't use it because it was too slick. I had no problems fitting these into my daughter's extremely wide feet. During the five minutes she was able to wear them, she found them very comfortable.
