I don't review, but I agree with you that the pants are incredible. My back is hurting so I'm buying a new one Today we've got a pair of shoes up. As I hiked the Appalachian Trail in Georgia in rain and thunderstorms, I soaked my feet in sweat. At no point did I get wet, never felt the wind, and I never had to turn on my heater. As a 6/8, 5'8 and 145 lbs, I got a medium, which fit perfectly. It had enough room for me to wear it over running pants, while being the perfect length for my legs. Rain jacket from Columbia gets a 4 star rating as well! I would highly recommend this product.

used them while traveling in Iceland and found them to be very easy to slip on and off over my boots (the legs open to a wide opening on the sides that can be strapped closed) and kept out the wind and sideways rain wonderfully. There was no suffocation because they were warm. When I tried them on by themselves, they fit comfortably, but because they have an elastic waist, I was also able to wear them over three other layers comfortably.

Gaiters may not be for everyone, but these are awesome alternatives. Although the ankles are wide enough for me not to have to remove my hiking boots for wearing and removing them, the Velcro near the ankle snares. I like how they fit at the hips and thighs (waist isn't too Five feet and 125 pounds is my height and weight. There is no doubt that they are The boots keep my feet dry during long hikes in the snow and rain. They are really well made pants. I wish the legs were a little narrower, but I wouldn't say these pants are too wide. The bag is also windproof. It is possible to wear fitted layers underneath (leggings/soccer pants).

The idea that any pants could be completely waterproof had me skeptical, but as it turns out, I was The pants stood up to the ultimate test on a trip to Iceland. Even after covering myself in waterfall mist, walking in wet conditions on a wet beach, and experiencing a 3-minute rainstorm, I was dry underneath. We hiked for an hour in pouring rain with frozen rain and 40 mph winds to see an old military plane crash on a remote beach in Iceland (anyone who has been to Iceland knows how long and monotonous this hike can be). When I removed my pants, I found that my layers underneath were dry despite being soaked to the bone when I looked at them from the outside. Besides being quick to dry, the pants also held up well against the heavy rain that occurred the next day. As the weather in Alaka is wet quite often during the summer, most of my gear has to be waterproof. It protected me from getting soaked because the pants fitted over my hiking pants perfectly. My usual size is a small, but I went with a medium because I like my other pants to fit over these. I wore the storm pants while walking through heavy brush along the trail, and they did not tear. In order to provide a layer of protection between the pants and your body, they have a mesh on the inside. Having these pants come in handy on my trip was the best purchase I've ever made for myself!.

I bought these for my mom for her recent Iceland trip. When I asked how they held up for her, she said they held up perfectly and she was so happy. You did not expect them to be warm, just meant to keep you dry and they did a great that there were more color options as she felt her outfits lacked color but she didn't care because she wore these through blizzard like conditions and was dry the whole time. A custom fit can be accomplished with them. They fit true to size and can be adjusted to fit better. Her recommendation led me to decide to purchase these for myself if I were in need of a pair.
