If you are thin, you shouldn't consider them at all. My waist was perfect, the pants' length was perfect. The pants' pattern was good, but there was a lot of extra room in the seat and thigh area (it was reported to be slightly curvy). The pants I was wearing reminded me of those worn by jockeys.
