I'm undecided about which size to purchase. What size hiking boot do I wear? I'm a size 9 1/2. ?

A medium, in my opinion, is the best option. In a hiking boot, I wear a size 9 and a medium is a good fit for me. According to the incredibly difficult size chart, a medium is a size 7.

Are these meant to be worn while hiking?

I've been wearing them with my summer hiking boots and have found that they dry quickly. When I go hiking in the winter, I wear thicker socks.

What size should I get for a woman's 81/2-inch shoe? 9 shoe?

Medium. I am a number eight. 5/9 too.

For plus-size women, this is most likely not the case

This was my first pair of DTS, and I'm a bigger girl. They're just a little too snug around my "canckles. " They cut off circulation and are simply too tight to be comfortable because there isn't enough fabric to stretch. I really wanted to make these work, and I'm sure they'd be a lot of fun for slimmer people, but they're not designed with enough give for plus-size women.

The best socks I've ever worn

Darn Tough socks are one of my all-time favorite brands. I had no idea I could love a sock as much as I do. Blisters were a problem for me when I first began hiking this year. I bought some good hiking boots, which helped with the blisters, but I still got them after long hikes. I bought these socks while suffering from two blisters, and I didn't even notice them on my hike; since then, I haven't had another blister in over six months. I go hiking twice a week for two hours. When I read other positive reviews, I assumed they were exaggerations, but I bought them anyway to try them out and because they had cute bears on them. I was so taken aback by them that I pestered my husband for weeks until he agreed to let me purchase a pair for him. He now has five and is looking for more. These are the best hiking socks you'll ever own.

Darn Tough socks are not my favorite

I'm not sure what makes these socks stand out from the rest of the Darn Tough line, but they feel cheaper and more synthetic, and they're too tight across the front of my ankle. I adore my other Darn Tough socks, but these aren't one of them.

Walking socks that are perfect

These were perfect for a short hike in the pleasant/slightly chilly fall weather I had today. Until I lost one of my old pair of Darn Tough socks, they were my favorite socks. Lighter cushioning makes these even better. They're still supportive in the heel and toe, and they're comfortable to wear in my sneakers. I haven't tried them with boots yet, but I believe they are the ideal length for fall, winter, and spring footwear. These will most likely become my new go-to recipes. to equestrian and hiking socks If you walk a lot, get some good wool socks!.

I'm gradually getting rid of all my old socks and replacing them with tougher ones. My feet must come first, and I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner. These socks are comfortable and durable, whether you're going on a 10-mile hike or teaching in a classroom for eight hours a day. Get these and any other types of socks you want! They're well worth your time and money.

Although the socks are well-made, the sizing appears to be incorrect

Warm socks that are very fun and well-made, but they are too small despite checking the sizing recommendations. I'm not implying that I cram myself into shoes and socks for the sake of appearances. I know my shoe size because I had them measured by a podiatrist; the recommended size was WAY too small, and wearing them for more than a try-on would have been a major pain. Regrettably, they will have to return to the store and buy the larger size.
