There are no water resistant components in the umbrella cap. It ended up being thrown away because of my poor choice. The rain was pouring down as I was getting my hair done! An inch from my hairline to the end of my hair got wet, and I noticed that my hair was noticeably messed up as a result of the umbrella cap's poor There is a disclaimer though. The material on the top is water resistant to a certain point, but it is NOT water proof from the outside in after a period of time. If you are running from point A to B, you can use it during drizzling or a short time spent in the rain, but keep in mind you might get your edges and hairline wet since the headband piece gets saturated over time. In the event of heavy rain, you'll see more damage depending on how long you're passing through it and how heavy it is. disappointed, especially since it said WATERPROOF, however, I couldn't moan because I got my hair done for only $85, so I couldn't be too upset. The least that can be said is that it wasn't worse. I would rate this product a 2 out of 5. I think it can be improved with a little more research and work. It was impossible for me to maintain my hair with this product. In addition, if you sweat easily, which lucky for me I do not, then you will sweat out your hair doing this since the material was made to protect your hair from rain, which it does, but not perfectly. It will not be waterproof if worn in the shower, so please don't do that. In my opinion this is not a shower cap based on reviews I have seen. Just being honest! Hope this helps someone in making a purchase decision. I suggest trying it out for yourself if you think you can make it work!.
I thought Hairbrella was sending me a good product, but when I received my top of the line, first class hair protection I recognized that this company is totally different because the quality is great! My job's indoors and I'm constantly exposed to weather conditions that are very harsh on my hair. Today when I went to work I didn't have to worry about the forecast for rain when it arrived my hair was not a lick wet. Thank you very much, and I'm looking forward to collecting more in the future.

My hair stays dry in the rain thanks to this hat. As a cap, it acts as a warming element on wash day.
With this product, I can style my hair either curly or straight. I have two sizes and colors to choose from. As a gift, I gave one to my sister. I, too, have received many compliments and inquiries about my own.
However, it is very difficult to wear in a hurry as it is extremely waterproof.
My favorite part of this is I just love it If I can avoid it, I pick up no umbrella, but I do wear a raincoat with a hood, which rarely helps. It is an honor to work with you!.
I bought it as a gift for my wife. The problem is not my fault.
