In light rain, while heading out with my dog, taking care of my chickens, and doing other daily activities where I do not need my hands free from an umbrella, I wear this hat. In addition to wearing this hat during an Atlanta Braves baseball game, I also wore it over my rain poncho during the weekend. As a result, I don't have to deal with rain dripping down my face or back thanks to the wide brim. I wore it yesterday when Tropical Storm Alberto pelted my area with rain and winds while I was taking care of my animals. The item I purchased is just what I needed.

Exactly what I've been looking for. Besides being lightweight, foldable and portable, it is also easy to carry. Despite its wide brim, it is very flexible and provides good coverage. The rainhat is of poor quality

The rain hat I own was bought a few months ago, and I have worn it a few times at the office. Because I am exposed to the elements for hours on end, I need equipment that can withstand the elements well. Unfortunately, this hat does not protect my head from moisture. I find that the inside of the hat is wet somehow. In fact, it soaks all the way It led to the still wet condition of my head since I wore it during a heavy rainstorm today. I would still have liked the hat if it wasn't for that since the brim is large enough to keep the rain off your face and you can adjust it to choose how much sun you get. Be careful not to waste your money, You cannot wash it in water. As with my first purchase, this is the second time I have purchased an Amazon item that had good reviews but was not what they claimed. Because I make purchasing decisions based on honest reviews, I find that to be very bothersome. The situation is not.

I am protected from wind and rain with this jacket

There is a lot of rain in the Northwest, and there is also a lot of wind. There is no way I want to look like a drowned rat on the way to work. I can keep my hair dry even when I have shoulders-length hair thanks to this hat. It is true I look like a drowned rat, but you can't blame the rain or the wind for it when I am wearing For windy days, I can tie it under my neck and it will keep my hair dry. Being a neutral navy blue, it's a good option for me because I do not like to stand out too much.

The only hat you need if you wear glasses and live in a place where rain is frequent so you can see what's going on around you and your glasses won't get soaked

You won't feel it in your hands. Brim has thin wires running through it which allow you to shape it any way you like. It can be folded up in a small package so I can carry it.
