This protective head gear will help you stay dry during the monsoon season. It's not usually a habit of mine to wear hair protection during the rain, as I prefer to let the curly frizz flow, unless it's connected to a jacket, but this solution allowed my hair to remain In spite of the heavier winds, my hair was only slightly damp along the lining due to my very long hair being tucked inside my raincoat. On the whole, my raincoat is surprisingly sturdy against the winds but it's not as durable as it should be. Also, I found I needed to tie it tighter, so it felt like it constricted around my neck and chin, but it saved the majority of my just straightened hair so I wasn't mad at My bag easily fit into it. It ties with a nice button, and then folds up so it can be stored against my side. A convenient tool for those caught in a sudden downpour, I recommend this.
