Questions & Answers
Yes, there is a disconnect between the back and the middle.
Go to Orbita, as previously stated. They contacted manufacturers to find out how many turns per day and in which direction they should go. Allowing either to be turned off can cause the watch to underwind or overwork. Check out Orbita and see if it works with your watches by selecting the appropriate starting point.

Selected User Reviews For CHIYODA Watch Winder for Men's and Women's Automatic Watch with 2 Mabuchi Motors, LCD Touch Screen
In a few words, it's difficult to give a technical review. I'm sixty years old. and I'm a watch aficionado who knows a lot about the subject. First and foremost, I would like to request your cooperation. Consider that this type of device is not only useful, but it is also required for high-end watches to keep their mechanisms in good working order (too long to explain, but trust me!). Second, before you begin using this electronic device, I recommend that you gain a thorough understanding of the proper settings for your watch/s in order to avoid damaging them, and I have found a useful database to assist you: )br>Third, this device has a digital control, which is far more precise than analog, and the inclination of the watch (pads) holder is perfect. br>The interior and case are simply outstanding. There is nothing else to say. br>The noise measured with a digital sound meter (both rotors on) late at night in a bedroom (on a piece of furniture) is 19db at 5" and 10db at 10feet, mixed with the standard background ambient noise, resulting in a very quiet and unnoticeable noise. br>I'd like to remind you that before you put your watch in this device, you must wind it between 30 and 40 times (depending on the reserve of charge and the size; generally speaking, 35 is more than enough) because its job is to maintain a charge, not to charge a completely discharged watch! br>To protect and maintain this device's settings, I recommend connecting the power supply to the smallest UPS available on the market (surge protector). I bought an APC BGE90 (roughly $50 or less) for backup protection. br>And there's more: To become "SUPERB," I could suggest to the manufacturer various case options such as walnut, cherry, and so on (much more integration in terms of design with your environment) and, last but not least, a touch of magic that costs a few dollars (three to five dollars): Four white leds, two for each rotor, are positioned in front of the rotors and illuminate when the rotor begins to spin. Although I believe the motherboard can support four rotors at once, I prefer a device with two because these devices have a long lifespan (between five and ten years). I'm sure I'll buy another one in the near future. br>Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
I just got this in the mail, and it's exactly what I was hoping for. It has a beautiful finish and is very quiet. The interior is well-made, secures my fairly large watch, and appears to be very luxurious. The only drawback is that the key isn't functional; it won't even go all the way in. I'm not planning on locking it, but I figured it should still work if it came with it. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The key was fixed by smoothing out the rough edges on the inside, and I gave the seller an extra star for his prompt response and willingness to fix the problem. br>br>10/11 UPDATE: br>br>UPDATE: br>br>UPDATE: b After a little more than a month of use, the right side began to make noise; it would run silent for a minute and 15 seconds before making a grinding noise, which I discovered one early morning and had to turn off.
It was one of their early designs, and while it looked nice, it was useless for keeping anything wound. The variety of pre-existing The determined winder settings didn't work for any of the watches I had, and it turned out to be nothing more than a pretty watch box, albeit overpriced in that capacity. So, I was hesitant to try again, but another "affordable" winder from Boxy had just died, and with two automatics in need of a new home, I had no choice but to get something, and I was intrigued by the apparent upgrades Chiyoda had achieved. It was worth giving it a shot because of the low price. br>br>I'm familiar with their quality of construction, and this one did not disappoint. Yes, the viewing cover is plastic, as is common in lower-cost winders, but the rest of the furniture is very nice, easily on par with much more expensive counterparts. The case has a lustrous, glossy finish and is well-made. The interior is beautifully designed, and they've upgraded their pillows to hold the watches more securely, which is fantastic. br>br>However, it's in the performance that it really counts - Is it possible to keep the watches wound? and this is where I was blown away, beginning with the first touch screen I'd ever seen in a winder. Exceptional! I'm hoping that other brands follow suit, because it's a lot easier to use than buttons and switches. The use of touch technology here impressed me greatly. I was also impressed by the wide range of options for customizing TPD and rotation for each winder. There will be no more pre-arranged meetings. set, you can customize your watch's movement to meet your specific needs. Perfect!br>br>So, I fired it up, adjusted the settings, and it's working perfectly. The motor is completely silent, just like my other Chiyoda, with the exception that my watches stay perfectly wound in this improved model. br>br>While this is an excellent price for a very attractive winder, there's no point in saving money if it doesn't work, so I'm thrilled that this has all of the build quality and performance of much, MUCH more expensive winders, yet is able to perform as well as it does at such an affordable price. br>br>It's extremely rare to get more than what you pay for, or to find a lower priced option that does as well, I'll update if anything goes wrong, but for now, this is the best multi-player game out there. Given the excellence of function, touch screen operation, and beautiful craftsmanship, this watch winder is the best on the market that I can find for about a third of the price of a similarly made brand. br>br>Highly recommend!.
The unit turns on, but the motors are no longer functional. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I'm changing my review because they have fantastic customer service and went out of their way to get me a replacement unit as soon as possible.
