Rolex watch owners can use it. Hopefully it will work with any watch that does not have a battery. Having mine for a few months now and it keeps my watch's time without having to wind it. It seems to work fine. All you need to do is squish the watch down on to your pillow and the motor will do the rest.

I grabbed one for myself before writing this review and have been using it for a month now. The pictures are exactly what it is. There are 4 independent motors that are so quiet that even sitting right beside them I am not able to hear them rotate. Compared to that, it would be the opposite of whisper quiet. It is nice having settings at the front so you don't have to reach behind the unit to change them. It doesn't seem likely that a watch could fall out of this holder, since the watch pillow fits snugly inside it and is angled at the back. It was undamaged when it arrived, which I expected, but is not always the case when ordering online. Excellent purchase and then bought another one based on how this one performed. Unless I weigh in the price, this unit is an absolute steal at this price, and I did not take it into consideration when writing my review.
Five weeks after being installed, one of the rotation motors went out! It is not recommended that you purchase this product. A few updates. It's wonderful that the customer service is so good! My review was immediately read by the owner, and they emailed me. We are in the process of getting the unit replaced or working properly As a result, I have switched my rating from one star to three at this time. I understand not all products work correctly, but when you have people standing behind their products and willing to help, that is what matters most. rating to 5 stars, the customer service is excellent. They are definitely a company I'd like to buy from again if the need arises!.
Since I have used several automatic watch winders, I have found that the Chiyoda was the best by far. The motor is very quiet, and unless you are right next to it with the cover open, you will not hear any noise. With lighted controls and a simple to use interface, it is easy to use. You can adjust the TPD settings differently for each one on the device. A great look and feel can be found here. One criticism, and not much of one, is that I would have preferred glass for the cover, but I suppose that would have raised the price. Watch winders like this one are what I use to wind my Rolex, Omega, The system is a perfect fit for each of them. A lot of people have recommended this winder to me.
A few weeks later I found the second one to have the little plastic handle to open the door broken off (it was missing, but it turned up on the carpet weeks later. As you can see, it was crystal clear). My company refunded my money and I used it to buy a very attractive stick-on handle that I used to get over the damage. Their price point is very competitive, so I really like their winders. *EDIT In case anyone is interested in the specifications, I've added a picture of the AC adapter. In the last few days, one of my 5-winder systems has become a little louder at one of the positions, but everything else is working as it should.
It's very quiet and far superior to winders at 5x the price. I like the finish of the winder, but I think what sets it apart is the ability to adjust winding individually for each device. The old on/off button is gone as well as the dip switches. All of the controls are electronically controlled and are easy to operate. This winder does a good job of keeping my watches wound to the correct level so they don't over wind and I like having storage for three more watches in the drawer. One problem with winders is longevity, with motors getting louder as they get older Although I'll need to check the magnetization after couple months with the winder, at this price point, even if it only lasts couple years, it will be cheaper to replace it with the same unit instead of buying a $1000 winder and hoping it will last.
As of now, I only have this for a week or two, but from what I have seen so far, it seems to work fine. There is no noise anywhere on the watch, except for at night (on my dresser) where you can hear it, but not enough to wake anybody up. All four watches are winding and keeping time as if on a wrist. I own a large watch, so there is plenty of space for four watches, and it is a lovely piece of furniture that won't let you down, provided the motors work as well as they look. It is easy to use and easy to read the LCD control panel. In the three designated storage slots on the pillows, watches will be too small, but if you remove the pillows, there is ample room for watches. There are only five self winders in this house and I will buy another CHIYODA once I get my sixth.
Even when I'm on speakerphone or video call, the winding of the watches is never loud enough to be heard by others in the room. I work from home, so I can tell when it clicks on to wind the watches. There is a nice lacquer finish on the surface Hard wood polished to a high gloss. I like the curved shield over the watches in clear plastic that feels a little light, but the handle on it is simply right to ensure I don't lose grip and it doesn't slam down on me. The watch pillow and the winding mechanism all have a very nice appearance and make the case a nice display case for some of my favorite Setup is equally easy for each winder - just set the sequence as you like. Taking time to learn was not an issue. The only negative I would mention is that the drawer below has a little cramped space for watches, despite the fact that there are three pillows in it. As long as you keep the quartz watches and other odds and ends in the three little boxes, I've removed the pillows. It is a beautiful watch winder, and I am very satisfied with the look and quality of the company. I just bought a further 6 watch winders from them. This will provide me with even more display space for my watch collection, and I will be able to switch watches without having to wind the watches by hand!.
