This tool kit is a good value for the price. There was however one case back that was extremely difficult to open, and the case back tool was broken. The back of the watch was difficult to close with finger pressure when the watch press would usually work. This item is made of brittle metal. Be careful not to damage it. This kit would be greatly enhanced by the addition of a Wenger case back knife and plastic tweezers. Although the spring bars included seem to be of poor quality, the other tools appear to work as described. A magnetic screwdriver is also included as an added bonus. Do Not Ever use it on an automatic watch movement, although it is helpful in dealing with small screws.

Having never taken my own watch apart, let alone changed the batteries or sized the bands, I have never taken my own watch apart. Using this kit for the first time has proved to be very successful. One of my Invicta watches was sized and another had its battery replaced. Although the black block that holds the watch on is too small, I was able to replace batteries in two other watches in my wife's presence. It apparently does not fit 52mm Invicta watches, but it should fit most watches. With the price of one battery/resize from your local jeweler, you get a generous amount of items and supplies, so it is a good deal. Thank you for the book. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is an absolute must-own. A must have whether you need to service a $50k watch or not. It's not the finest quality but you're not getting this for the service. It's a nice little device for those of us who own regular watches, even those who own expensive ones. This is especially important for changing bands and batteries as well as quick cleaning when necessary. Almost everything you and I would like to accomplish can be done using this kit. Because it's so small, it's very easy to transport. I used it to replace the bands on my Tudor and Panerai watches. My brother's watch was having a problem that was now fixed. Now is the time to buy. This set includes everything you will need at the price. With the exception of tools for removing glasses.

The reason I bought this was to replace a battery in a bulova I have that most stores did not have an unlocking tool for the screwback. In terms of the organizing bag, it's very nice, bigger than you'd expect, but it keeps your gear in one place since it has inserts for various notches on your backcase. The only problem with that is that the tool to adjust it is somewhat stiff, but otherwise the whole kit is great if you are going to do watch repair work yourself.

Taking it slow, being rested, and not rushing is the key to success. Make sure you watch a lot of videos on YouTube of professionals using the kit before you decide. Do not forget to read the manual as well! It's possible to end up hurting yourself or damaging your watch if you are not mechanically inclined and are accident prone.
