I bought the Albert because I recently inherited my Grandfather's old gilded double Hunter watch, and as a long-time Sherlock Holmes fan, I wanted a chain to match the look of the old watch (it's from Holmes' time frame--it's from the 18th century). late 18th century). My only disappointment was that I misread the advertisement and thought it said "ancient half-caste. " If I were to wear this to a Holmes Book Club meeting, I would fall short of the Victorian look because the "coin" is from 1988. Aside from that, I'm very happy with my purchase.
