When you bend metal with your bare hands like this, you'll feel like the Hulk. However, I purchased this for its functionality rather than for emotional support; the metal is extremely weak, and I cannot recommend it.
I'm lazy and don't want to put forth the effort required to use a standard length shoe horn, what with all the bending down and getting back up. What an inefficient use of resources! br>br>Now I can wear my sneakers with the laces tied and slip my foot in without squeezing the heel. This saves me a ton of time getting ready in the morning and keeps my sneakers looking brand new. br>br>I can't believe what a difference this Long Handled Shoe Horn has made in my life!! There would be no wars or crime if everyone had one of these; the sense of well-being provided by this object would put a smile on everyone's face and make them SO RELAXED! You owe it to yourself to get one of these!br>br> I'm serious about this!.
I wanted a metal shoehorn because I thought it would be more durable than a plastic one and also look nice, but it completely bent out of shape after the second use. It's still usable if I bend it back, but if I wear it with a tighter shoe, it'll bend out of shape again. I'm sorry I bought it; I believe a wooden one would have looked just as nice and been less fragile. br>br>In the past, I've used both plastic and wooden ones, and they've both worked well with my shoe. I simply purchased this because it appeared to be attractive.
I never imagined myself using one of these longer shoe horns. Then I went out and bought some boots that fit really well but are a little difficult to put on. The boot's design makes me nervous that I'll rip the heal loose at some point. As a result, this shoe horn is extremely effective! It's tall enough that I can put it in the boot and still pull my boot on with both hands free. My foot fits perfectly, and the hook makes pulling the shoe horn out a breeze. br>br>The leather appears to be genuine, but when you hold it in your hands, you can tell it's not. However, I do not believe this is a problem. There's no reason for it to get damaged because you simply put it in your boot and pull it out. br>br>The flat black finish is appealing to me. It resembles a cerakote finish in appearance. It's $9, so I doubt it, but it appears to be durable enough to slide a cotton/wool sock over it. It's just a nice-looking shoe horn that does what shoe horns do, so I think it'll last a long time.
I had a pair of boots that took me nearly 30 minutes to put on. There was no zipper or buckle on them, and they were "slip on. " I ordered this shoehorn and it allowed me to slip my feet right into my boots with no effort at all; I absolutely love it! To tell you the truth, I'm not sure how I managed without it. I strongly advise you to try it!.
The ones made of plastic or wood are usually the ones that I break. It's not overly thick, but it's very strong! Sharp edges are not permitted! My hands, back, and knees have little to no pain when I put on my shoes/sneakers quickly. I even did it in my Combat boots. The ease with which I was able to put them on astounded me. The leather handle is connected to the shoehorn in such a way that it does not shift or slip, ensuring that there are no pressure points or sharp edges on your hand. I've had it for two weeks and it's been excellent value for money. I'm going to get another one for my mother, who is in her eighties.
My husband turned 30 last year, and it appears that things have only gotten worse since then. I chastised him for wanting a shoe horn, but I have to admit. It'll be well worth your time and effort. He bought a cheap plastic one, which lasted only a week before breaking. This is the one I upgraded to, and it's fantastic. The leather handle is a nice touch, and the length allows us to both be lazy at the same time. Our toddler believes it is 100% for putting on slippers as well. Overall, I'd recommend it, particularly if you have a bad back or want to keep your fingers from getting stuck in your shoes.
Never before had I owned a pair of boots. I kept pushing the aftermarket cushion insoles up toward the toe of the boot, despite the fact that getting them on wasn't a big deal. The insole stays in place as I slide my foot into the boot with the help of this long-handled shoe horn. The item is made of steel and has a nice top curve. I also included a boot jack, which makes removing the boots a breeze. Both of these items have significantly improved the experience of putting on and taking off boots.
