This item has a value of 1. The shoe horn measures 75 inches across at its widest point.
Metal is a little slick, but not too slick. But, and this is the most important point, it is extremely powerful. I've broken a lot of plastic shoehorns, but this one is made of metal, so it should last a long time. It can also be used as a weapon, which is another benefit.
This is a heavy-duty shoe horn with a rigid construction. It's not going to bend. It's made of extremely tough steel. I've been using it since July, when I had my hip replaced. It's impossible for me to bend it with my two hands. This shoe horn isn't in the least bit frail.

Even a seemingly innocuous item like a shoe horn can be considered a work of art. This is, however, a flawless product in its class, the proverbial "one-stop shop. " hoss shay" is a phrase that means "hoss shay" in Long shoe horns are my favorite because they make it easier to put on boots and reduce stooping. I've had many made of wood and plastic over the years that eventually broke, needed to be repaired, and eventually had to be replaced. I was concerned when I saw this on Amazon because a 31. Like a bullet-proof vest, a 5 inch steal shoe horn may be overkill. I don't have a dog, but I do have a fish, so I'd take a dog collar or a lifetime supply of fish food. However, this was not the case; The length is perfect, and the steel is thick enough that I'm confident I'll never bend it without making it too heavy. While a discussion about a shoe horn may appear frivolous, every time I use it, I am amazed at how well it performs the task for which it was created. If you think you might need something like this on a regular basis, buy it.
It's wonderful not to have to bend over to put my shoes on at the age of 82. The item is extremely durable, and it will never bend or break under normal conditions. However, I found it difficult to hold the steel 1/3 semicircle that runs from the shoe end to the top. I used an entire roll of cloth adhesive tape to wrap around the top for a 6 inch grip. The steel edges that made it uncomfortable to hold were removed as a result of this. The only thing I'd change is to wrap the steel at the top with a smooth rounded handle. Because it is made entirely of steel, it may be too heavy for a FRAIL PERSON.
Every morning when he goes to work, my husband likes to use a shoehorn to avoid smushing the back of his nice dress shoes. Because he's rough (gr), I had to replace his shoe horns every six months. I got a metal one because he had a plastic one that had broken. The metal one, however, has a handle that constantly pops off, and I have to glue it back together. It's a semi-advanced version of a semi-adv I have a lot of frustration to deal with, and I don't want to waste my mental energy on it. Then I discovered this shoe horn, which is long enough for my 6'4" husband to put on his shoes without bending down. Because it's made up of just one piece, there's nothing to break. It won't bend or warp because it's extremely sturdy. Done. Keep it near the front door and you'll never need a shoe horn again. Because it's so sturdy, we'll most likely pass it down for generations. The disadvantage is that it is quite heavy, so it may be inaccessible to someone with severe arthritis. However, if necessary, it can be used as impromptu home defense.

I have a bad habit of being lazy. I'm not in poor health, but I despise bending down. It was the best thing since bacon cheeseburgers, I thought. And I told everyone I knew about it. Putting on shoes was as simple as changing the channels on the television. Then I realized it was a little too simple. br>br> Shame flooded my heart. I was embarrassed to put on my shoes in front of my wife, fearful that she would internalize my slacker behavior. Then one of our friends slipped and fell on some ice, injuring himself. He's a senior citizen who suffers from neuropathy and has a bad back. I presented him with the shoehorn. It's perfect for him. It has been extremely beneficial to him. In conclusion, if you have health issues that make bending over difficult, you should: Get. This. Shoehorn. It's made to last, and it'll make your life a whole lot easier.
I was very pleased with the quality of this product, which we purchased to replace one we had previously. The first was much flimsier, with a rubber or plastic coating on the handle (top 6 or 8 inches) that eventually stressed and cracked due to the metal's bending. This one will probably outlast us because it is much more durable and does not have the plastic coating. It's also much easier to use because it's stiffer and has less 'give'. This is an item I strongly suggest. For the price, it was an excellent deal.
Even after reading the description, I was surprised at how long it is (see photo with shoehorn propped against cabinets). This product makes it a lot easier to put on long boots. My husband had back surgery, and I was hoping he'd be able to use this, but it's too heavy for him to maneuver right now. Overall, I would suggest this product - It's constructed from high-quality materials. Please mark if you find my review helpful; it is made of high-quality materials and is sold at a good price. Thank you a lot!.
on shoes. Slippers are something I enjoy. on shoes. Bending over is not an issue for me. I'm not sure what it is about this shoe horn that appeals to me so strongly. Using a wide shoe horn instead of your finger must be better for the shoes. But that isn't something I am concerned with. With this shoe horn, you can pull your pant leg up and slip your foot into your shoe without it getting caught in the back of the shoe or the sock stretching out and folding/wrinkling. Everything is in its place. You also won't have to stoop. Mine is hung near the front door on a coat hook, and I use it every morning.
Wow! These are quite substantial. It appears that they are made of black powder. (I could be mistaken) and it's incredibly durable. The weight isn't an issue; they're not particularly heavy, but I expect these shoehorns to outlast the wooden and plastic units I've used. I've had wooden ones chip and plastic ones crack, but these are the best. You could possibly run over one of these with a car and it would be unharmed. (This is something I haven't tried. ) )br>If you normally throw long shoehorns across the room or onto the bed after putting on your shoes, I wouldn't try it with these without first aiming carefully to avoid breaking something. br>I am extremely pleased with these (I purchased two) and would recommend them to anyone looking for long-lasting footwear.
