The answer is no. The sketcher shoes are the reason I bought this. I like the way it works. bought one for my mom too. I was very pleased with my purchase and I think it will last for a very long time.

Due to its long and skinny shape, as well as the way it weighs, unless all the seams are completely taped, the box will get squashed, a seam will gape, and two days later there will be no more material left in the box. A high-quality shoe horn was what I was looking for. In my opinion, I purchased two that would be appropriate to my needs. A good example of one of them is this. The length was one of the things that drew me to this. There are times when it's simply not possible to sit down so as I find a long handled shoe horn useful in situations where shoes are snug on your feet, but a shoe horn with a long handle is often handy as well. One of the stainless steel ones I use most often is a smaller one that is 7 1/2 inches in diameter. The one I grab on those occasions when I have to fit my feet into snug loafers while in a hurry or on the go is this one. *BREEZE* The blade is stainless steel, yet long enough to be managed without the user sitting down. This handle has been wrapped in paranoid so that it keeps its shape and can be gripped easily. My experience with it is that it isn't a perfect solution, but I don't need I would like to see the blade a little larger, more rounded, and The length of the bag is the perfect length and it does the job. This is a strong product with a good value for a sturdy, useful product. Four stars.
I am blown away by this. There is a pair of Clark shoes that I have that are very comfortable because the back is I still needed the shoe horn, since I could not fold the soft back when I put on my shoes. It was two pieces the last time I had one. Immediately after breaking off the handle, the pen fell to the ground. There are no seams on this, and it looks amazing. I'm buying a second one, one for downstairs and one for upstairs. There is nothing that can bend this strong and solid piece of metal. The shoehorn I have is great.

The 83 year old woman using it is very satisfied with it. Although she had a longer one, she was unable to maneuver it easily because it was so long.
