According to the reviews, there is no replacement. That's the flaw; replace the entire system.
Yes, you will need to secure it in order to use it effectively. I attached mine to a 24" long piece of 2x10 pine so I could stand on it while scraping my boots.
The following is printed on the box: "Made in China with care." "The Durham, North Carolina office is solely for the company (Implus), which owns a number of brand names. br>br>I have no idea what "made responsibly" means. Mine isn't built in an even manner. One of the bottom braces is crooked, and the center three brushes are spaced unevenly. I'm going to try it out for a while and then write a review.
Yes. There are no wood parts in this game.

I think I used either 3/8ths or 5/16ths of a drill bit for the size screws and anchors that came with the product, but it would have been nice if the instructions said what drill bit size would be best for the size screws and anchors that came with the product. Something in that general area. br>I would advise you not to look down while cleaning your shoes once your foot is in the proper position on the bristles, as I was struck in the eye by some small dirt that flew up in my face. Apart from that, it's a fantastic product that I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want dirt inside their home!.
But what, exactly, is going on here? Each side brush has two screws that are simple and easy to remove; the bottom brushes simply pop out to be removed - So, tell me why I have to buy a COMPLETELY NEW ITEM in order to replace the brushes. Why is it that I can't just buy the brush replacements? WHY IN THE WORLD do you make it so that you can replace every brush on there with four screws if you don't want to sell replacement brushes? This is ridiculous, and the fact that MAXXDRY hasn't figured it out yet is why I won't be purchasing another MAXXDRY product. br>br>Update: So far, no replacement brushes have been found. I discovered the reason for this - If you can simply buy the brushes, they don't make as much money. As a result, they've lost my business to a different boot brush with replaceable brushes - Now, who is losing money as a result of their greed?.
These mud brushes are very appealing to me. Mine is secured to the concrete and will not budge. If it came with replacement brushes, I would have given it a five-star rating. When the brushes need to be replaced, replacing the entire assembly is a waste.
This is a brush with extremely stiff bristles. It reminds me of a grill cleaning steel brush. The bristles are very sturdy, and I would not use this to clean my 'go to town' boots because the leather could be seriously damaged. However, this is a well-made, durable product that should last for many years.
I found a two-foot-long scrap 2x12 and centered the boot brush cleaner on it. I didn't have to mount the brush to solid concrete or wood because I was able to stand with one boot on one end while cleaning the other, then switch feet. On the sides and at the very bottom, the cleaner works wonders. Cleaning the front and back of the boots, as well as getting into the deep tread on the soles, requires some effort. To complete both of these tasks, I must twist my leg. Aside from that, it's been great so far, and I'm very pleased with it.
Because it sits a couple of inches off the ground, this boot scrubber was one of my first purchases. Mud and chicken feces will not collect in the gaps, and a quick hosing will wash everything away. I read that the brushes were too tight for feet in some reviews, but we haven't had that experience. I wear a size 8 in women's clothing. My husband is a size 5 and I am a size 12 - On this, neither of us has any reservations about thoroughly cleaning our shoes.
It was surprising how strudy it was for the price. It's a concrete anchored / mounted item. It does exactly what it says. The frame is made of heavy metal. There isn't anything better for the money.
Great item, but the screws that came with it could have been of higher quality. When I put it up on my porch, the screws stripped as they went in. I'm hoping that I won't have to relocate it any time soon.
