My new shoes were scuffed up badly as a result of this. I bought this kit in the hopes of masking the scratches, but I was completely surprised. My shoes have returned to their original condition!.
This brown pair of oxfords has been in my possession for far longer than I care to admit. I had a friend tell me that I should definitely retire them, but I wasn't ready to let them go just yet. So I bought this kit and decided to try to polish them. br> I'm relieved because they now appear to be brand new shoes, especially with the addition of new laces. The brown polish in the tin looks black, but it isn't. I'm not sure how the polish stacks up against other brands or types, but I'm pleased with how it turned out for me!.
Edit: I was perplexed to receive a black polish in a brown can, so I re-ordered. the brown can was cracked open I removed a few pieces and examined them again; it appeared to be black, and the applicator sponge appeared to be black as well. I smeared it on some white paper, and it turned out to be a dark brown. As a result, I was completely wrong, and I'm going to change my rating. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and will be more cautious in the future when checking. I use shoe polish on my shoes, bags, belts, and some of my house's furniture, so this kit comes in handy, and the extra applicators are a bonus. Everything is in good order. For good reason, the kiwifruit is an oldie but goodie.
Nothing special, I bought it in a hurry because I recognized the brand and thought it would work, but it didn't stay on/protect in minor rain and cold, despite several coats carefully applied. br>br>Perfect for dress shoes rather than work boots.
I've only used it to shine my boots before going to a two-day event. step, prior to being examined by my drill- At officer training school, he taught others how to shine their boots as a sergeant. It has never failed me. This particular pair of footwear- To keep your boots and shoes shiny, all you need is a shine kit. With some elbow grease and a Bic lighter, it works like a charm.
For the price, I don't think it's worth it; the wax only covers 3/4 of the can, and the brush scatters hair all over the place. The foam used to apply wax to the leather is of poor quality. What is the origin of these people? I'm not sure, but the bag in which they're packaged is of poor quality. And this isn't a low-cost item!.
With the exception of a large scuff that it helped blend, it made my brown shoes look brand new. 10/10.
