Questions & Answers

Could you please tell me how wide it is? The board I need to mount it on has to be wide enough to fit it ?

6" x 9" is the size of the boot scrubber. Located in the middle of a 24" long 2 x 10 pressure treated board, my unit is mounted in the middle. After you clean your left shoe, you can clean your right boot by standing on the opposite end of the board. The program works well.

This product can be mounted on a cement porch without the need to drill holes?

Yes, I agree. No mounting is needed because we use it on a cement porch. In order to remove clumps of mud from a boot, it is necessary to move the boot around. There is a different kind of mud on every muddy shoe or boot. You won't have to scrape your boot on the edge of the step like that!

Is this effective on dog poo that is fresh?

I have never used it that way before. Although I'm sure this brush will work well on dog poo, fresh or otherwise. HOWEVER some fresh dog poo is sticky therefore, you should wash the bottom of your boots and shoes first to prevent contamination of the next set of shoes. I think you'd be in a lot of trouble if your wife/husband was next in line thinking they were scrubbing off their soil bits but instead came home with POO on their shoes As for poo bagging, it is the proper solution for not stepping in poo as soon as possible and home owners with kids from 8 to 20 should teach them how to use the bags and poo scoopers and avoid leading their children into a hazardous yard. I am just expressing my personal Yes, when guests bring their pets, which we do not mind, we give them a pack of poo bags and expect them to fill them up. We are not concerned with their behavior at home, but at our house we are. In our childhood we swept up our yard poo regularly when we were told to. Having a dog, or even a cat, is one of the many responsibilities that go along with feeding, brushing, and loving your pets and your neighbors and even guests. Regardless, it would hopefully clean pet poo, but I wouldn't want to deal with having to wash it off and then also wash off my creases and grime in shoes at the same time. It's significantly harder to rinse off if you nailed it down to a board as we did, plus it's that much more difficult to hose off if it's nailed down to a board as we did. The sides of my brooms should be cleaned by the way, since I use them outside and inside by the way, so I would not want to have any poo residue on them. It's just something I thought of outside the box.

How did the bristles get their shape?

Most likely, they are made from nylon or a synthetic material that is stiff. A synthetic bristle will be able to withstand more abuse than a natural one. This product has a lot of appeal to me.

Just over a year ago, we attached a Boot Scrubber to a deck on the west side of our second home in Maine. As a result, I rarely used it because I found the brushes pretty hard to drag my boots through. A female work boot won't fit even in that tight. Anyway, I've tried to use it recently and the brushes broke. I'm guessing either the afternoon sun or the winter snow or some combination of the two may have been too much for them. It might be better to move it to a protected area. We just couldn't figure out what to do.

This is the best! I have written two so far
5/5

My first JobSite boot scrubber was about five years ago, and I have another wooden one as well We had two wooden doormats. One for the back door, and another for outside the chicken yard. The wooden one lasted a couple of years before falling apart. The rubber one limped along for a year because I seldom used it, never getting it dirty. Today I decided to just get another JobSite because I just couldn't stand it anymore. Today, the package arrived! This is amazing! It's amazing how fast that is! Using 3/4" plywood, I mount my scrubber on a 18" x 18" piece, which allows me to stand on one part and scrub the other boot or shoe at a time. In order to hold the boot scrubber, one foot must be placed on a piece of plywood, while the other foot on the plywood holds it Several holes can be seen in the plywood - So I sawed a hole in it so as I wash out the scrubber, the old poultry poop will have a place where it can go after Putting the plywood up on edge to drain and dry after I rinse off the boot scrubber is my way of getting rid of any remaining water. The process is very simple. Mount the boot scrubber away from the floor as much as possible. must be able to move it around and to clean it, or else it's just going to be a JobSite boot scrubbers are extremely well made and the bristles in the hard plastic really hold up - even after repeated use. Boot scrubbers made of wood just don't last as long as iron ones. I wish you luck and enjoy the experience!.

The foot bed and screws are very weak, but the chair itself is sturdy and well made
3/5

The pros are The bristles of the brush are held together by a hard plastic frame with very sturdy bristles. Previously, I had a boot scrubber with wooden bristles that eventually rotted. I bought this to replace it. The cons are There is a narrow opening in the wall. As I use my boot it forces the side bristles downward instead of keeping them horizontal and effectively cleaning my boot's side. It is difficult to tighten the screws A provided. I was unable to screw any of the screws fully into my deck before they all stripped. As for drilling pilot holes in my deck, yes, I did that as well, so I was not worried Putting the screws in place and tightening them.

I am confident it will hold up well in the weather, since it is well built
5/5

In my attempt to locate it, I made a mistake. In question, I mounted it about one foot from the wall, facing a With the long bristles, you can remove large amounts of mud when you draw back your boot. As a result, my walls are sprayed with mud. You don't need to worry about it as a defect. Just keep that in mind when you find.

It works well for boot scraping
5/5

While the side bristles have a tight fit on 12W boots, they get into the lugs of the soles if you go at a 45° angle, and this model has flat and corners on the metal sides to scrape the soles, which some brushes lack. Blocks made of plastic that are weather-resistant. This appears to be a very sturdy product. To get leverage, I mounted it on plywood so that I could stand back and get a good grasp on the mechanism. Shoot at the bushes, not at your house, in order to get a spattering effect.

Using a scrubber is a good idea
5/5

My old scrubber was damaged in numerous places and no longer worked properly, so I bought this one to replace it. There are several things I like about this brush. The brushes work well, and the metal frame gives me confidence it will last. I just noticed that it comes with screws to mount it on the floor or similar. The brushes also do the job very well. As a result, it is not going to be able to be used without being mounted because the brushes will be too strong to hold it in place while cleaning your boots. There is a concrete floor in the garage I am using this in, and I do not want it permanently installed. It would be helpful if it could be placed on a board that sticks out on both sides, so I can pick it up with one foot while cleaning with.

A total waste of time
3/5

Normally, I don't rate the movies so poorly, but this was a very disappointing movie for me. There was a huge problem with the frame of the thing. There are painted welds on the inside of the metal frame. They are all 3. It was clearly evident that a repair needed to be done, as it was There were so many mechanical issues with it, it barely fit in the box it was in. The plastic brush bases had a flaw that hampered the performance of the brushes One of the driven screws popped out and could not be reinserted. A screw parts bag that was ripped with one screw missing was also found. Lastly, I will touch upon the functionality of the device. The hiking boot I have is a men's size 7 hiking boot, and to get it to fit i would have to forcefully jamb my foot in. I think a dress loafer would be a good fit. Your time is better spent on something else.

I have the machine, but I don't have the screws to attach it
3/5

According to the description, the actual product is ok. However, the box that it came in from the manufacturer looked like it had been thrown from a two-story As a result, all the mounting screws that were supposed to be included with the product were gone, so I went to the Hardware store to buy them. Despite the fact that it is a complete failure, this indicates to me that the manufacturer (in china, of course) is not concerned with the quality of its product and could care less if you get what you pay for. If it is a cheap product, i don't see much reason to be upset or to have any serious I would not buy from this company.
