After having a bad experience with this brush, I returned a few months later. I just wanted to let you know that this brand is a little over-hyped. hyped, and that this brush can actually damage your sneakers, despite the fact that it is not advertised as such. br>br>I used this on my Adidas NMDs (prime weave or whatever the hell material they use now) because I'd read that without the Jason Markk premium shoe cleaning brush, my shoes would fray. Okay; It is placed on my order. br>br>When I receive the package, I double-check that it contains the correct brush, as I've read in other reviews that people have been sent the wrong brush. It is, without a doubt, the soft brush. Nice. br>br>I use it on my NMDs as directed in the Jason Markk tutorial on the website: soft circular motions, being careful not to dig the bristles into the material. br>br>After cleaning it with the JASON MARKK (TM) PREMIUM UBER-CLEANER, HYPE MICROFIBER CLOTH, I examine my NMDs more closely. The situation is beyond belief frayed. My shoes resembled a sheared sheep, and I wore Jason Markk products the entire time, even paying extra for this glorified soft bristle toothbrush. br>br>As a result of my rage, I send Jason Markk a respectful email; "Hey, you said your premium brush wasn't made to ruin knit material shoes," the subject line of that email read. Can I get a refund for the brush/compensation for my knit material shoes because they ruined them? "br>br>There has been no response. Even a "piss off" would have been nice. br>br>You'd be better off just buying a shoe bag for the washer machine and not falling for this garbage hype. a monster that cleans shoes You'll most likely become as enraged as I was, and still am, months later. It's a good product. Well, on shoes that aren't made of knit material, but this brush was advertised LITERALLY to not ruin more delicate materials, and the product videos even mentioned NMDs by name. You will get better results by throwing your shoes in a washer bag at the end of the day, and you will save a lot of money by doing so.
I bought this because it was advertised as safe for all materials and I needed something for a suede shoe, so I gave it three stars. Regrettably, it isn't suitable for all types of materials. It did a decent job on the sides of the soles, but Soft Scrub would have done an even better job. It cleaned the suede, but it was in very good condition. It made no difference to my daughter's shoes, which have a felt-like upper. As seen in the illustration. The shoe I'm holding is the one I cleaned, and it doesn't appear to be any different from the others. Granted, they were filthier than my shoes, but the stains hadn't set in yet because it had only been three days since they were worn. The only reason I gave it three stars is that it is safe for suede and does not leave moisture stains. I would have given it one star if it weren't for that. In light of the foregoing, the price is exorbitant. There isn't much for the money. It is simply not worth the effort.
This is a complete squander of funds. If you have access to running water, do yourself a favor and stick with Jason Markk's original liquid solution. I could see this being useful for people who have light marks that need to be cleaned up because it isn't as potent and will waste quickly.
This product has caused me to have a complex reaction. br>br>- On the one hand, it appears to work fairly well. It cleaned my white Common Projects Bballs, as well as a pair of nubuck Great Royales, without leaving any visible scratch marks, fading, or color running. I can't seem to get rid of a few scuffs - However, I am aware that I am giving up perfect cleanliness in exchange for sensitivity.
- On the other hand, the product is made in a very low-cost manner. The first time I used it, at least 20 bristles fell out, some of which became stuck in shoe crevices. And believe me when I say that Brushes are usually included with cleaning solutions; I was nervous about using this on a $500 pair of sneakers, so I wasn't "scrubbing too hard. " I expected it to be of much higher quality because I had to pay for it separately.
This brush is one of my favorites! It was purchased so that I could clean my Yeezys without damaging the knit fabric. It removed all of my stains without causing any damage to the fabric.
As a result, I purchased this brush for her, which she uses on a regular basis. Funny thing is, I despise cleaning my shoes because I believe they are just shoes that will always get dirty, but the joke is on me because now I use this brush on my shoes and it's pretty funny that I love this product even more than I would have before; I love this AND NOW I KNOW THAT BRUSHES ARE NOT JUST FOR HAIR.
And, because I live in Michigan, it keeps my suede boots clean and free of salt, so they look brand new. In my light grey/near white sneakers, I recently stepped into a mud bog - I rinsed the mud out in my laundry sink and then used this cleaner on them, and it restored the fabric's original color as well as removing the brown from the white rubber tread!.
This product works wonders; however, the price is high, and in my opinion, extremely high; however, if you have already spent well over $200 on shoes, this product is a must-have. 00, in my opinion, you should use the best cleaning and protection products available. This product does exactly what it claims to do. Just make sure to follow the key's instructions and you'll be pleased with the results. I used it to clean suede Hoka One One shoes, triple S suede, leather, and knit from Balenciaga, and white leather Girogio Armani sneakers. It worked flawlessly in each of them.
