Questions & Answers

What is the purpose of having two brushes?

Because the dark brush is for dark shoes and the light brush is for light colored shoes, you will receive two brushes. br> I came up with this idea after seeing how the same process is used to make Cowboy Stetson hats, which I own a lot of. For dark-colored hats, use a dark brush; for light-colored hats, use a light brush. br> I hope my contribution was of assistance. br> Eli, if you're reading this, I'd like to introduce you

What are the measurements for each brush?

6 inches in length and 2 inches in width

What country does it come from? Is 100% natural horsehair really really really really really really really really Is it true that they shed quickly?

China is the source of this product. So far, there hasn't been any issues with sheds.

How long are the bristles?

My brushes have bristles that are nearly one inch long, but not quite 26 millimeters long. The darker bristles are only a fraction of a millimeter longer than the lighter ones. They're about 1" long, in my opinion.

Synthetic Bristles are the most common type of bristle
3/5

These brushes use the old marketing trick of claiming to be "100% horsehair" when in fact they are mostly synthetic and have a few strands of horsehair that are in The brushes are stiff and coarse, indicating that they are knockoffs right away.

The quality is good, but the size is small and the surface is slick
3/5

When brushing polished shoes, a 7" brush is too small to be aggressive. The grips on these brushes have received little attention, resulting in a slick surface. br>br>I added strips of adhesive tape to the sides, which greatly aided the process. The brushes are of good quality, and you should buy one for each color of shoe you plan to polish.

It's adequate, but it's not exceptional! I found the brushes to be lighter in weight than I had anticipated
4/5

Although the brush is smaller than a few other brands I've used in the past, I prefer heavier and larger brushes for a firmer grip and more shine power. (Example: I purchased Shoe Keeper brushes from Men's Wearhouse in the United States and Pro Care brushes (made in Germany) from India. Both were more suitable for my needs and had a better flavor than Shacke's. )br>br>The bristle quality is adequate, but they are harder and crispier than I anticipated. The crisper bristles fall off (not to the point where you should be concerned, but it's worth noting). br>br>I'd consider it a good buy if the set of two brushes cost $8/$9. However, the set of two cost me $13. As a result, I expected a higher percentage of people to give it a 5-star rating. Overall, I give it a four-star rating because it's a good product. star.

OK, using both brushes, I made a B/4 rating? When you order something online and can't tell how well it's made, it's frustrating
3/5

For me, that's a major disadvantage! BUT, if you're like me, have no fear. This item is top-of-the-line and extremely well-made. After shining about five pairs of shoes, they appear to be very durable. I've been wearing them with all of my dress shoes and dress casual shoes. I ADORE THEM BOTH, and when the time comes (which will be a long time), I'll reorder them both. PERIOD, VERY WELL MADE! When they use the brushes, they just feel good. Sizes are accurate. made with vigour br>I'm going to leave what I wrote above because I still have the same feelings about brown brushes. BUT I USED THE BLOND BRUSH FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THERE WERE MANY BRISTLES ON THE FLOOR. I'm very disappointed about this, but it happened, and I will not be repurchasing these brushes because of the blond brushes. I made the error of purchasing two sets of the same item. In Herman Munster's words. oh, my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my.

Nice shoe brushes for those who like to look their best
5/5

First and foremost, after serving in the military, I consider myself to be somewhat of a shoe shine expert. However, for the past 40 years, I have simply purchased one and worn cheap shoes. You buy them, use them for a while, and then discard them. Because those cheap shoes aren't comfortable enough or dressy enough for 100% of time I wear shoes, I bought some dress shoes. If you're going to spend a lot of money on shoes, you should take good care of them and make them look their best; I bought these brushes specifically for that purpose, to make my new dress shoes look nice. Because the darker bristles are a little stiffer than the lighter bristles, I prefer to use the darker bristle brush for pre-cleaning. The softer bristles are for buffing out the polish after it has dried, while the stiffer bristles are for polishing. I don't like "spit shine" on my shoes, and the brushes did an excellent job of buffing to a moderate luster without the need for additional buffing with a cloth.

It's difficult to give a score because it's difficult to rate
3/5

I've had much better brushes in the past, but they came at a significant price premium. Not to say it's not worthwhile, but you're getting exactly what you paid for; weigh the pros and cons for yourself. Isn't it possible that it'll be just what you're looking for?.

Bristles that are hard to work with
4/5

Although the brushes are of a good size, the bristles are stiff. With a little practice, this should improve. For polishing, I prefer a softer brush, but stiff is fine for cleaning.

Two colors and a great price
5/5

There are two colors to choose from. Bristles that are black and blond. One is for my black boots, while the other is for my pigment brown boots. When I grab the appropriate brush from my shoe shine kit, it's a simple distinction to make. It is critical. The bristles aren't exactly the softest. Only my boots get them. On my dress shoes, I like softer bristles.
