In contrast to BDUs, there are no drawstrings at the bottom.
These pants have an elastic waistband.br>I got my jean size and they fit well.br>The inseam may run a little long (I bought one pair 2 sizes shorter), but that's not a problem for me.
At the top of the hip. They're neither too high nor too low to obstruct waist bending. You are not required to continue hiking up them. It's very relaxing.
To allow for freedom of movement, most cargo pants I've found are baggy in the legs. Because of the elastic, the waist should be cinched in; if it doesn't, I'd say it's either sized incorrectly or the elastic is defective.

However, be aware that they are quite long, heavy, and baggy. If you're looking for a pair of pants with specific characteristics, these are excellent options. The following are the most important details to be aware of: br>* They're big and bulky - They're thick and heavy, much heavier than most "regular" pants like jeans. Suitable for cooler weather but not for a summer hike. br>* They are long, and five washings and hot dryings have shortened them slightly, but they still drag on the ground if I don't wear shoes. br>* With so many pockets and a general oversize/baggy fit, they won't be mistaken for slacks - For better or worse, you'll have the appearance of a soldier. br>* They're super comfy, and the elastic waistband is a great feature - They flex, so you won't feel restricted. br>* The pockets are great because there are a lot of them and they all close tightly. br>* Bring a belt with you - Without a belt, they'll start to fall down. br>* I wore these on long hikes and casual mountain biking, and they were perfect - However, it was a chilly day. br>* I don't believe in ironing - In any case, you're not going to wear them to the office Christmas party. br>For comfort and utility, these are the best pair of pants I've ever owned - I can get away with a very casual look if the weather isn't too hot.
I've been wearing these pants almost every day for about a month and haven't noticed any signs of premature wear or significant shrinkage. The side bellows pockets can expand to carry gear, and the back pockets can easily fit a man-sized item. receipts and papers in a wallet the size of a credit card. All of the pockets, including the cargo and back pockets, are securely closed. The belt loops are large and appear to be in good condition. The material is soft and flexible, so it won't get in the way of your work. The two knife pockets are well-placed and reinforced at the opening's top to hold your knife clips in place. br>br>However, there are a few flaws in the pants' design. br>br>The cargo pockets have an outer and two interior pouches that are far too small to hold anything useful. This causes everything to flop and bang around when you move, making the pants extremely uncomfortable to wear all day. br>br>The front slash pockets have adequate openings, but they can be difficult to use while wearing work gloves. These are also disappointingly shallow, often feeling cramped and causing you to be concerned about things falling out as you bend and stoop. br>br>The two knife pockets are far too small to be of any use. They won't fit anything bigger than a small folding knife, so don't bring any wrenches or multi-tools with you. There is far more than they can handle in terms of tools, flashlights, and other similar items. I'm left wondering what the designers thought people would do with these useless pockets. br>br>While the back pockets are wide (as they should be), they aren't deep enough to hold a trucker's wallet, tally book, or a functional notebook. br>br>And that is the only flaw in these overall pants. These pants have all of the wrong pockets. There hasn't been any thought given to what people will do with these pants if they purchase them. They all need to be made bigger and deeper, with the inner and outer slots being greatly expanded. br>br>In general, these pants appeal to me. The build quality and materials appear to be of good quality. The fit and finish are excellent, and I anticipate that these will last for months. However, as soon as a similar product with functional pockets is created, I will be looking to replace them.
Husband was a retired cop who worked as a cop. These are the same $90 pants available in the department. We ordered two pairs, and they're tough, wrinkle-resistant, and have plenty of room for tactical/magazines/handguns; in other words, they're SWAT pants or hunting/camping pants. When washing, it's a good idea to line up all of the Velcro squares and clip the snaps together. This keeps the Velcro clean and saves your sanity from the buckles in the dryer making a racket. PANTS ARE SUPERB!.
I'm a female corrections officer, and these pants are fantastic. They don't fit me very well. Working in a male-dominated environment, being baggy is always a plus. There is plenty of room for equipment and other items. When you're doing routine tasks or fighting with inmates, the stretchy waist line is extremely comfortable. The only disadvantage is that it attracts dirt. As a result, expect to wipe them off frequently.
Heavy-duty materials are used. It would probably wear like iron, but it would be extremely uncomfortable and crotch-length! I ordered a 30" length, and my wife had to hem and cut 4" off. It's great to have waist pockets. a significant depth Other pockets are so thick with Velcro that getting into them requires a crowbar. I got rid of a lot of Velcro. I would have returned them if I hadn't had to remodel them so much! I'm going to the Salvation Army to donate!.
This pair of pants is fantastic! I like how the slider waistband has a little give to it, and I like how many pockets there are. There is a lot of attention to detail. The bellows pockets have velcro closures, which I like. So they're not all floppy, they've been slimmed down. The button is appealing to me. plus- The waist is fastened with snaps. The zipper does not open or close. They're spacious enough to live in without being too cramped. They're comfortable even in the heat and humidity where I live in Africa, about 4 degrees north of the equator. My only suggestion is that buttons for suspenders be added, and that suspenders be made available to go with them. Fill those pockets, and the ole belt will be strained; I'm about to order a couple of pairs of shorts!.
I bought these pants for work, and they're just okay. I would have chosen First Tactical or 5 for the price difference. Tactical number eleven. These pants fade quickly, the dark navy blue isn't nearly as dark as it appears, and the pockets are unusual. The pants don't have a lot of stretch, and the crotch area would occasionally break open, making them feel more like casual wear than work wear. The elastic waistband is great, and the length is great, but the width of the pants was too large for the size after about 4-hours. I'm replacing them after 5 months of service.
