That's the length when it's not stretched, Joel. Mine are a little longer than yours - 5 cm. Nonetheless, I do not recommend them. They're far too tight around my ankle to even fit around it. They might be appropriate for a teen girl.

The oldest attended boot camp with the United States Marine Corps. In one of his letters, he included a boot band. He gave it to his mother at the start. But we all wanted to show our support, so I bought these for us to distribute to family members. You can make a bracelet by simply crimping the hooks together with pliers. After a while, the kid decided to send some more home. But we kept those, along with his letters, in his memory box. And if one of his brothers loses theirs, they won't have to worry because it was an original from him! When comparing his to these, they appear to be nearly identical. His are a quarter of an inch longer. However, it appears that the material and hook are the same. br>br>I've been wearing it for the past few months and for his 13 weeks of Boot Camp. When I shower, I remove it. It's only recently started to discolor around the chrome on the hook part.
I used to wear these in the Marine Corps, so I figured they'd work for my rain pants, which are a little too long. I completed the task at hand. My pants are no longer muddy as a result of the mud.
They do the job, but a thick rubber band would do the job just as well. Perhaps I don't know how to use them, or perhaps my memory of how long my inseam is fading as I get older. They worked in either case, but I'm not convinced they were necessary. They may be adequate for uniform use, but they were too tight around my boot, causing my lower leg to ache after a short time.
They are longer than the originals, so you must triple knot them to mount them on quad rail to hold tape switch wires; if you pull too hard to knot them, they will break. . . they arrived one day late. The lesson was learned, but it was the name brand, not the cheapest deal, that got me it. br>br>I am not a happy customer.
My fiancé is a veteran who likes to blouse his work pants with his boots, so I bought these for him to save my hairbands. He adores them and employs them on a regular basis. He stated that they are ideal.
It's just like the ones I used in the military. They don't hold up well in the washer, so remember to take them out of your pants before washing them.
After only a few uses, the verdict on durability is still out. They were a little tight when they arrived, but I'm sure once they break in, they'll fit perfectly!.
