They are made in Nicaragua or Vietnam, depending on the color and production run.

What's the difference between a 34 in-size and a 34 in-size? waist?

Okay, is this really a question? Size 34 is the size you're looking for.

What is the purpose of the strap that runs across the back pocket?

The strap is for people who use holsters with a lanyard attached to the pistol's magazine end. They'll never lose their pistol if you attach to them. It can also be used as a tool belt.

Excellent All-Rounder a pair of round pants with two major flaws Taclite Pro is the brand of pants I've been wearing
4/5

For years, I've worn shorts. I'm a big supporter of on-demand services. person carry, and my pockets are bursting at the seams with day-to-day necessities- My job allows me to wear cargo pants and even shorts during the day, so I've devised an edc system around them. These pants/shorts can comfortably hold 7-pounds with a good duty belt (I use Blue Alpha Gear belts). Gear weighing in at 8 pounds My EMS friends first introduced me to this particular model, which they wore as on-duty pants. I currently own six pairs of Taclite Pro pants and three pairs of shorts, thanks to a recent purchase. I've had the oldest pair for almost four years now. Yes, abrasion and wear have caused a few holes in them. The water resistance has deteriorated, but for pants that cost $30-$50, this isn't a big deal. These are incredible, at the age of forty. Not only do I use them for work, but I've also worn them on week-long backpacking trips. If you're looking for a pair of low-cost cargo or tactical pants, these are my top pick. br>br>BUT, there are two major issues with these for me. After that, I've bought a pair of shoes for each pair I've purchased. 11 different productions were changed, and all of the stitching ends were loose. Since 5. 11 has increased the price of these, with shorts now costing around $50. It would be great if they would either tie off the stitching ends or burn the ends so that the stitch does not unravel with use. The zipper snap is a good way to tell the difference between old and new productions. The design of the snap button above the zipper has been simplified, with only 5 buttons. 11 & With the new production, their logo is on the right. br>br>I've noticed that the new production pairs have varying tolerances as I rotate through the pairs I own. I'm not sure if this is a problem with their Quality Control or if it's something the company can live with. Some pairs have a wider pocket, while others have a deeper pocket, especially in the front right thigh pocket (the small one up front). This is the pocket where I keep my phone, and my IPhone7 with OtterBox Commuter case fits perfectly in older production pants/shorts. However, with the new productions, each pair I wear has a different amount of slop. This could be said about other pockets as well, but the ones that stand out the most to me are this one and the front left thigh pocket (the small one with velcro closure).

The current configuration of the cargo pockets makes them unsuitable for anything other than paper, pen, and pencil. Please make these shorts with vertical pockets *inside* the cargo shorts (possibly even an elastic pocket?) br>br> ), roughly 2"x5", or the size of a magazine. This way, we could store flashlights, magazines, multitools, and other items in the pocket without it slapping against our leg with every step. I realize the single pouch on the left leg could fit an item like the one I described, but if you put a mag in there, you're better off carrying open, and it's only one item. br>br>Your competitor does something similar in the cargo pocket, and it's fantastic. If you're a large person (I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds), these shorts fit better in the crotch and waist area than other brands. br>br>For the fit of the shorts themselves, if you're a large person (I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds), these fit better in the crotch and waist area than other brands. I ordered these along with a few others to compare, and these have more room in that area, if that makes sense. I'll comment on how long they last after I've worn them for a while.

If you buy these, make sure to get some Gold Bonds
4/5

I have a few pairs of Taclite Pro pants that I use at work. Their durability and functionality have really impressed me. However, the durability of their fabric makes them hot, and I should have read the other review here, which stated that these shorts are essentially the same as the pants. On a 95-degree day, I wore these shorts for the first time, and they were extremely hot. By the end of the day, I was completely swamped. My wife, on the other hand, complimented the shorts, saying that if formal shorts existed, these would fit the bill. I'll put them aside for subcontracting. Days with temperatures in the 80s.

Summer EDC casual wear at its finest
5/5

I've been sporting a number of different outfits. For years, I wore 11 Taclite Pro shorts, and when they finally wore out, I needed to replace them. These are comfortable, durable, and have enough pockets to hold all of my EDC items without looking like a stuffed pillow. Wallet, two Kershaw knives, a flashlight, sunglasses, a tactical pen, a smartphone, two lighters, and a Celox z-blade All of the gauze, as well as a 4" Israeli bandage, vanish into the pockets. While wearing an OWB holster and a double mag pouch, the slash cut front pockets are still accessible. My old Levi's jeans, on the other hand, are not in the same league. The pocket layout is identical to that of the full-length 5. I have 11 Taclite Pro pants so I don't have to reorganize my EDC when the weather gets cooler. I'll keep buying these until they come up with a better alternative.

These are the most durable and water-resistant shorts I own, with pockets large enough for a pocket knife on one side
5/5

As a mechanic and technician, I work two jobs and am occasionally covered in grease, oil, and dirt. It's not been difficult for me to clean them. On one side, there's room for a pocket knife, while on the other, there's room for a small flashlight. You won't lose your wallet in the back pockets because they are deep. I used to keep my wallet chained to the D ring in the front, but I no longer do so. The inseam is generous, allowing for squatting, kneeling, and stretching. I purchased a size 38 and found them to be the perfect fit. These shorts are a little on the pricey side, but they'll last you several years. One last point - I don't iron my pockets, and they stay flat and wrinkle-free once they're on. Shorts are excellent.
