It's possible that the hat is a little too big for you. It is most comfortable for people with a head circumference of 22 to 23 inches.
The Charm hat is available in two different styles. One color is reversed to another. SPF is not mentioned in that description. In the product description of the one that does not reverse, it says SPF 50, UV.
I'd hand-wash it in a few places. It keeps the sun out of my eyes while I'm riding my bike. If necessary, a gentle cold wash and low heat drying would likely suffice.
I have the purple one, and it has faded very little. I wash it on cold and air dry it, which I believe helps to keep the color.

I have a large head, and I am thrilled that this fits and fits well. I like it so much that I'm going to order two more in different colors.
Because I have a large head, it wasn't quite as slouchy as I'd hoped, but it was still very nice! For the duration of the summer, the material will be comfortable. After trying on the black, I purchased a khaki version. I'm hoping for a larger size in the near future.
I like slouchy hats, and I have short hair and a round face, so I don't look good in a lot of hat styles, but this one suits me well. I have a lot of migraines and don't like wearing hats when I have them, but I do need to protect my eyes from the sun, and this fits perfectly on my head. It's also a nice weight and provides wind protection without being overly warm, whereas a baseball cap would expose my ears too much. I have a large head and would prefer it if it were just a smidgeon larger, but I still like it.
Although the hood's back is baggy, it makes styling long hair and wearing a hat overtop a breeze. The headband doesn't have any elastic, but it won't fall off unless you do some gymnastics with it - That's why I bought it: I've been suffering from migraines since a recent concussion, and having more pressure on my head isn't good. (An added bonus is that you won't have to worry about the elastic wearing out. ) ) Reversing it is a piece of cake; I prefer the purple shade, but the khaki side comes in handy when I want to match something neutral with what I'm wearing (such as red, orange, brown, navy blue, or black, which the purple shade wouldn't go well with). It also folds up small, which is impossible with larger hats with wider brims. If you fold it up and secure it with a rubber band, it can easily fit into a bag. The back design also allows some airflow to reach the nape of your neck if you have short or up-do hair. Airflow is also aided by the lack of tightness around the headband area. You can't go wrong with it because it's washable and lightweight. It's been a few days for me, and I live in California - I can also wear my sunglasses without putting any extra strain on my temples from the hat! I would strongly suggest it. I've always had a thing for Japanese-style cuisine. I like made goods because they're well-crafted and designed (bento boxes, Zoujirushi thermoses, gaming systems, etc. ), and I'm happy to report that this one did not disappoint! It's a little more expensive than I had hoped, but it feels high-quality and will last a long time; here in California, I'll probably wear it every day, so I'll try to update this review once I've had some more time with it, but so far, so good!.
I'm not sure what made me think this hat would be a good fit for me, but it is exactly as pictured and described. I needed a wide-brimmed hat to keep the sun off my face, and while this one fits the bill, it looks completely ridiculous on me. To avoid looking like the Swedish Chef (which is far too hot), you must wear it with your hair down, and when your hair isn't filling the hat, the top is droopy unless you pull it way, way down. Again, I have no one but myself to blame for it not being a good fit for me because this is how the model in the photo is wearing it. So, if you're looking for a hat that looks like the one in the photo, this is the hat for you.
In late September, I bought this hat to wear on a tour of several coastal cities. I needed a hat that would block the sun without catching the wind, had a fashionable flare, and was made of breathable material. This cotton is extremely soft, and the brim fits snugly so that it does not blow away. (My head circumference is 22 inches, and I have a pixie haircut. ) If you have thick hair and a big head, this might not be the best fit. )br>br>Purple was slightly brighter than expected, but it's still a muted tone; I prefer the navy side; and I'm ready to hear my friends say I look like Fieval from American Tail, or a Handmaiden or something, but I'll still wear it confidently like all my hats. It reminds me of a slouchy bucket hat.
There's just the right amount of slouch and it's not too heavy. I live in Florida, and this hat keeps my head cool. It shields my eyes from the sun and allows me to tuck all of my hair into it if needed.
After reading numerous reviews, I decided to purchase it because of the hat's size. Because I have a large head, the one-size-fits-all approach is ideal for me. size-for- I can't seem to find a hat that fits me properly. Unfortunately, for me, this is also far too small. So, if you can only wear hats that are labeled as extra large, don't bother with his hat.
