I'd heard good things about kenetrek and was looking forward to trying them out, but after only two weeks of project work on a hotshot crew, they're nearly destroyed. The photos attached show boots that have never seen a fire line. br>br>Stick with one of the well-known boot brands because this isn't it.

Lightweight and well-fitting

I purchased this for wildland firefighting, but I have yet to use it on the line. If they don't hold up, I'll try to update the review as soon as I can. Three of the boots are very light. They're a lot lighter than my whites or the haix boots I've been wearing. These are the boots I'll be wearing from now on. I intend to buy more Kenetrek boots for hunting if they perform well on the job.

The boots are thick and snug. As I mark timber in the woods, I've got them on. At the end of the day, it makes my feet feel a lot better.
