When it comes to slipping, they're fine. I work in warehouses and am frequently in and out of trucks, so I haven't had any problems.

The boot is comfortable but a little heavy; I wear it for 9 hours a day and it takes some time to get used to it. This is the second time I've worn these shoes.
For a short time, they are comfortable, but the lack of arch support causes the feet to ache after a few hours, and they claim there is a shank in them. There isn't one that I'm aware of; it does provide adequate support for standing on a ladder, but you can fold the boot in half the other way with your hands. The threading on the toe has begun to fray after only one week of use. For the price, they're a good boot, but I won't be purchasing them again.
Let's just say it's not water proof or water resistant even though it says it is. I looked for two months for a good pair of composite toe shoes and this had it all. However, after only three months of use as a daily work shoe, the soles on both shoes have already come apart, and I'm not hard on my shoes at all. Don't buy these shoes, trust me, you won't be happy.
The boots are very nice, and they were exactly what I was looking for. They're fashionable, and they complemented my jeans nicely. Timbs are what I usually wear with my baggy jeans and polo shirts. However, when my company mandated the wearing of composite toe boots in the workplace, I knew I had to find something that was both fashionable and functional. I did a quick search on Amazon for "stylish composite toe boots" and found these Avenger 7248s, which I immediately knew were the ones for me. They're stylish and comfortable, and they complement my urban look.
I used them for work and they are by far the best of the best safety shoes I've ever used.
My husband claims that they are extremely comfortable and that he enjoys wearing them.
I can't say I'm unhappy for $50. These aren't as comfortable as other composite toe shoes I've owned, but they're still nice to wear. I'm hoping that a new pair of insoles will improve things. They are someone I would recommend.
Because my other work boots were worn out after ten months, I had to keep them. I would recommend this pair if they were available in a larger size.
