As is the case with most watches available today, this one, too, is A US watch retailer bought a Swiss watch company a few years back, named Invicta, from Florida. Invicta dates back to 1837. My opinion of this watch is that it was built and assembled in China, but the quality of the watch I happen to own is unaffected by that fact. But the engine is a Japanese Seiko new model nh35 24-jewels engine, making the watch, despite its modest size, one of the most desirable models. There's a big downside to this product -- that it weighs about 208 grams. There are no screws holding the heavy SS band together - it is pinned in place. Like I did, I recommend replacing the SS band as soon as possible with a quality rubber strap or a NATO strap, as the SS band may break after a while. The watch is now 138 grams. When you're paying that much money, you're hard pressed to make a mistake.

With the Grand Diver from Invicta, it's impossible to go wrong. This is a great watch for under $100. The invicta has a great finish, quality steel, and an automatic movement from Seiko that works well. One of the only cons of the whole Invicta Diver range is that lume is a bit weak.
