Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use the sub dials? Is it just for show, or do they have a purpose?

They work, and it's a fantastic timepiece.

All of the other photos I've found of this watch show that it has a day of the week chronograph rather than a 24 hour one, as this one does. why?

Shows both the current time and the date.

What kind of warranty does this watch come with?

I'm not sure because I've never used it before. Since I purchased the watch, it has performed admirably for me.

It's Time to Go Back
3/5

As a serious Invicta watch collector (12), I know the best from the worst, and this is not one of the best; the watch was defective from Jump Street, and I had to shake it three times to get it to work. It could have been a problem with the battery. It wasn't my fault; I had purchased a defective watch. br>br>Aesthetics – It's gleaming, which is probably why so many people buy it, but it's light on its feet and feels like a cheap laminate over plastic. It also has poor contrast with the numerals, hands, and face, which makes it difficult to read, as another reviewer pointed out. br>br>Invicta makes fantastic timepieces, and I'd buy another in a heartbeat. This one, on the other hand, is all bling with no substance.

Like all of my Invictas, this one is absolutely stunning
5/5

I believe this is my tenth Invicta watch, and I'm a lifelong fan because you get a lot of bang for your buck, and they're stylish to boot. They frequently have the appearance of a much more expensive timepiece. I prefer their automatics (kinetic/winding), but this watch was so appealing that I purchased it despite the fact that it was powered by a standard quartz (battery) movement. I was not disappointed when it arrived; the silver on silver is stunning and has a very 'high-end' feel to it. It has an 'end' look about it. I have to disagree with a couple of other reviewers who claimed that the watch was difficult to read. Reading the time does not bother me in the least! The watch hands are glossy and contain Invicta's luminous TritniteTM feature, while the watch face itself is matte. This contrast makes it very clear to my eyes, and I have no difficulty reading the time, even at a quick glance. The flash from the watch face could be what they're seeing. It's silver, very reflective, and flashes (bling bling!). If the glare is directly in your eyes or you're looking down at the watch face from a 90° angle, it can be difficult to read. However, this is true of almost any watch with a glass or crystal face on the planet, and all it takes is a slight shift in your wrist. Every watch I own functions in the same way. It has a larger watch case (45 mm, I believe), so those with smaller wrists (like me) will find it chunky, but not to the point of being tacky or oversized. It's just the right size, and it's clearly masculine without being garish. The watch is quite heavy for a quartz movement, but it has a nice quality feel and heft to it. (i. All Invicta watches come beautifully packaged in their trademark yellow watch box, and all of mine have plastic coverings protecting all of the surfaces that you peel off ((Protip: All Invicta watches come with plastic coverings protecting all of the surfaces that you peel off)br> This is how you can tell if the seller gave you a brand new watch rather than one that had been returned! If the plastic protective coverings are missing right out of the box, you've received a used or returned watch, which you should return! Although only 5 links appear to be removable on this watch, it should be enough for even the thinnest of wrists. men with wrists I have extremely thin wrists, so I only had to remove four links. The fastener is the true show-stopper on this watch. I adore this type of fastener (push button), which Invicta watches almost never have (they almost always have a clasp and lock closure, which I dislike). I own a Pulsar and a Seiko that have this type of push-button mechanism. I fell in love with the button closure and decided to order this watch. I have not been let down. I am a huge Invicta fan, and now that I have my tenth watch from them, I think I can safely call myself a "collector" LOL. After two years of daily use, only one of my ten watches developed a problem (it lost its chronograph hand). After years of intermittent wear, the finish on the band of my black Invicta specialty watch began to peel away, but this is a common occurrence with watches. The majority of their timepieces will last for years, making the price very affordable. You can't go wrong with this watch for the price. It was even cheaper because I purchased it during a Prime sale! Woot! The best part is that if you break it, it'll only cost you $50-$100. So throw it out and get a new one for $100!.

Excellent all-around watch with a sophisticated "silver on silver" design! The design of this Invicta watch appeals to me
5/5

The "silver on silver" design makes me think of expensive Swiss luxury watches. Friends have complimented me on the 45 mm case, which fits my wrist perfectly. I haven't had any battery problems or issues with the watch hands coming loose like some other customers have. The band "squeaks" a little at first, but a few drops of watch oil on the links immediately fixed the problem. This Invicta design is perfect for a classy, everyday watch that will get you a lot of compliments!.

Here's some breaking news: Watch with silver hands and a silver dial is unreadable
3/5

For around fifty dollars, you get a large (but not garishly large) all silver, stainless steel chronograph with a rotating bezel, three sub dials, and a date window (between the four and five o*clock markers). It will undoubtedly be noticed because everything is silver. People will assume it's expensive, so you're getting a lot of visual bang for your buck. br> However, there's a catch: Everything is silver, after all. absolutely everything - Unless the lighting is ideal and you can hold the watch at just the right angle, it's difficult to read the watch. That's a lot of effort. br> I had high hopes for this watch. This is correct. The second hand is dead on when it comes to hitting the dial markers. Since I set it yesterday, it doesn't appear to have gained or lost a single second. The bezel is a little stiff, but it's easy to turn thanks to the notches. The chrono pushers could have been a little bigger, and there was no aural or tactile feedback at all. The chronograph, on the other hand, functions correctly and can be reset. The bracelet is well-made and features a signed two-button clasp, but it is large enough to accommodate a large - Which meant a trip to my watch guy and a few extra dollars spent on a watch that I'll keep but won't get much wrist time. br>I'd give it five stars if Invicta had used black hands against a silver dial instead of silver hands against a silver dial, but the readability is so bad that I'm only giving it three.

It's a nice watch, but make sure you put it on
4/5

Great watch, but if you think you'll have to return it, make sure you wear it for the first 30 days. To get it fixed with Invicta, you must mail it to them and pay a $20 fee. You only have 30 days to return an item to Amazon. My father had one, and one of the hands had simply fallen off. My husband owns two of these timepieces, neither of which has been damaged. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, BUT MAKE SURE TO WEAR THEM ALL THE TIME SO THAT IF ANYTHING HAPPENS, IT HAPPENS WHILE THEY ARE COVERED.

Warranty Pain Due to Stylish Poor Quality In May of 2017, I bought the watch
3/5

Two months after purchase, the (small at the bottom) day hand fell off. This watch was worn to work twice a week (in an office setting). The seller cited Amazon's 30-day return policy and advised me to seek help from the manufacturer's warranty. Overall, it's a pain to have to warranty a relatively new product instead of simply exchanging it for a non-warrantable replacement. Watch with a flaw. br>br>I'm giving it two stars because of the quality and the pain it caused me. The watch, on the other hand, is fashionable and attractive.
