Questions & Answers

Is there a way to set the countdown timer to seconds?

There isn't a timer for the countdown. Take a look at the Model F201WA- That feature receives a 1A.

What makes them think they can charge $10 for a watch that cost $3 in 1990?

Anything that was three dollars in 1990 is now ten dollars. In 1990, a gallon of gas cost $1. 16/gal. The median price of a home was less than $150,000. Prices rise as time passes.

What is the water's resistance to depth?

I believe one of the previous commenters was correct. I've been wearing this watch for decades, and each one has lasted at least a half-decade. I've worn them while swimming in a pool and in the ocean, as well as diving to depths of 20 meters. After spending a long time in the water, a watch I'd had for a long time got some water inside it. This is my most recent F91- W got water inside, and parts of the display failed the first time I submerged it (an hour and a half in a hot tub, with about half of the time spent underwater). So it's possible that Casio changed something about the materials or manufacturing process to make it more water resistant. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue in extreme conditions such as kayaking, rain, swimming, and so on. In any case, it's a fantastic watch - super light, long battery life, practical functions, unobtrusive and unpretentious design - If you choose to use it in submersion settings and it fails, you can get a new one in a day or two for a few dollars. (However, I wouldn't press the buttons if it were submerged: That's a surefire way to end up in hot water.

After two years of use, the rubber band finally broke. I don't want to replace my watch because I like it so much. Do you have any recommendations for a replacement band, such as a nylone one?

The lugs are 18mm wide - If you receive a two-star rating, consider yourself lucky. e. a. a. a. a. a. a. Although it is not a NATO strap, it will outlast the stock rubber strap.

I still adore them, but all I really want is a watch
5/5

Big, bulky watches are no longer an option for me. I have my Suunto and a couple of G-Shock watches. Watches with a shock. I still wear them and adore them, but what I really want is a watch that keeps accurate time, doesn't protrude 3/4 inch from my wrist, and looks a little odd. In addition, I am a frugal individual. I place a premium on water resistance. I have a job that requires me to sit at a computer for long periods of time. I take the bus or the train to get to work every day. This is where watches come in handy. I go for a run once or twice a week and always wear a watch. Unless I'm camping or staying in a hotel, I don't sleep or shower with my watch on. I prefer digital to analog because I prefer knowing exactly what time it is, and I only estimate when reading an analog watch because I'm lazy. Also, if I'm in a meeting or if I'm pinned- I'm being talked down by someone I don't want to talk to, and I'm wondering if this is taking an eternity or if my perception of time is being distorted- It's much easier to get a precise reading by peeking at a digital watch. I realized a few months ago that I'm just as happy wearing a $15 Casio as I am with my $250 Suunto, and that I don't need to know the barometric pressure most of the time. Yes, on some days. No, I don't wear a watch every day, but I do like having a variety of watches (including the Suunto, which is fantastic). I also enjoy picking out a new watch every morning. For me, that's a lot of fun. I recently ordered several new inexpensive Casio watches from Amazon. I spent $52 on four new watches. Timex's, in my opinion, have reached the end of their usefulness. priced. That's how low I'm willing to go. br>br>Casino W- (Casino W-) (Casino W-) (Casino W ($20-$50) 800HAV Digital Black (ish) My eight- For Christmas 2016, my 12-year-old son and I both received one of these watches. It is something that both of us enjoy. We both have other watches, but this is the one we wear the most because of its low profile, which means it won't get caught in pockets or shirt sleeves. I adore the lighting. It has a piddly appearance to it. However, it does a good job of lighting up the face. Sometimes I go for a jog late at night. Even while bouncing down the road, the light is bright enough for me to see how fast I'm going. It also has "Dual Display. " I'm stumped for a name for it. On one part of the screen, the time is displayed, while the stopwatch numbers are displayed on the other. It's convenient to have both on hand. If I'm out and about, I'll set a stopwatch for when the train passes because I know it passes every 15 minutes. So I'll know when I'm approaching another 15-minute break. minute mark, as well as the time displayed on the sub-dial. display. br>br>Casino F- (Casino F) (Casino F) (Casino F) ( $10. 00 for 201WA Digital Black is number 47. It's very relaxing. It's not too heavy. The most straightforward controls. The lighting is excellent. It has a countdown timer and a lot of alarms, which I like. When it's in stopwatch mode, I miss being able to see the time like I can with the W-series watches. The WV-800HAV is a combination of the WV-800HAV and the WV 200A. br>br>Casino West Virginia- 200A ($40-$50) Waceceptor Digital (ish) in black with red and chrome. It appears to be in good condition. As is the case with the steel. The glass is well protected. It's a bit on the heavy side. It's a tad on the thick side. Buttons are really nice. Excellent electro-music. the light that glows This is the only watch in the group that can be set to not beep whenever a button is pressed. I appreciate being able to turn off the beep. When I'm in a meeting, I like to set a stopwatch to see how long someone is talking nonsense for. Timing someone's nonsense is, strangely enough, a pleasant diversion from the nonsense. However, when I'm pressing buttons, I don't want my watch to beep. "Dual display" is a term used to describe a situation where two displays are When you're in other modes, you can still see the time. The countdown timer is useful, and I don't have one on any of my other watches. I'm not going to give it any bonus points because of the Wave Ceptor. It adds no value to my life and drains my battery. This watch was on my wrist for an entire day of snorkeling and performed admirably. Because I live in a landlocked state, I spend all of my time at the beach. I can't dive much deeper than 20 feet, so this isn't a serious test for a watch that claims to be water resistant to 200 meters. If you're diving to 200 meters and time is of the essence, you'll want to invest in something more than a $40 Casio. (Casio, I adore you. ) HDA-Casio HDA-Casio HDA-Casio HDA-Casio HDA- Casio HDA 600 ($14. Black Analog (n. d. ) (n. d. ) (n. d. ) It wasn't the most pleasant experience. My wrist is squeezed from bone to bone or flops around a little. I'm not sure why, but it just doesn't seem to fit right. YMMV. I really like the face shield. I can't wait for it to get a little scuffed up. Glowy dots on the hands aren't particularly appealing, but the date window is flawless. Although it appears to be tough, it is most likely not. It appeals to me a great deal. br>br>Casio MQ24-Casio MQ24-Casio MQ24- Casio MQ24-C 7B2 ($14- White-faced Analog is a term used to describe a device with a white face. Light as a feather. It's so comfortable that you'll forget you're wearing it. The text is simple to follow. There is no option to set a date. No lumi. Yes, I'm fancy, because it's nice and simple and never catches your sleeve in a dress shirt. Some people are capable of reading an analog watch with no numbers on it- Dots are all. That isn't me. When it comes to numbers, I already make a mess. There are numbers in this. Numbers are something I enjoy doing. The waterproofness of this one has yet to be determined. Casio only claims that it is waterproof. Underwater demolitions are something I rarely do these days. br>br>Casio A168W-Casio A168W-Casio A168W-Casio A168W- 1 ($16. Stainless Digital is number 15 on the list. This watch is either one of my favorites or one of my least favorites. I'm not sure if Casio was trying to make a fancy watch, but it's actually a dork-looking watch. If they're going for dork, they'll go for bomb. Their goal is to drop a bomb on the target. Whatever the case may be. This timepiece was a huge hit. This watch, in my opinion, is the pinnacle of nerdy opulence. 1980's wannabe stockbroker, cool old guy who doesn't give a damn, a smidgeon of silver tucked into his sleeve to catch someone's eye- Oh, it's a Casio digital, not a Casio analog. It's chrome, after all. For crying out loud, it's PLASTIC that's been plated. Isn't that incredible? Everything about it appeals to me. Love it. It's equipped with the Illuminator light, which is extremely effective. The clock, the date, the stopwatch, and the alarm are all included. There isn't a timer for the countdown. The metal band isn't very pleasant to be around. It has sharp edges that irritate the fur on my arm. Clasp is easy to use and has a wicked look to it. It's simple to adjust and can easily be tucked into a dress shirt. Again: super- dorky. Every time I put it on, it brings a smile to my face. Then cringe as it pulls your fur. br>br>Casio F91W-Casio F91W-Casio F91W- Casio F91W-C 1 ($11. 35) Digital Black This timepiece appeals to me greatly. It is extremely light. It is very light. The light appears to be a gimmick, but it actually works. It is simple to press the buttons. On the 'Dork' scale, it's quite high. People are aware of it. It says CASIo if you hold that one button down. This is fantastic. I'm proud to say that I've never paired this watch with a flannel and a beanie before. Never.

The ego watch in its most basic form
5/5

If you're tired of bulky, expensive watches, this is the watch for you. You buy this when you don't have any ego attached to your watch purchase and realize that a nice watch only attracts other "watch guys. " Even in the dark, it can tell the time and day. It has an alarm that beeps at you at a time of your choosing, and it can be set to military time or 12 hour time.

This is an absolute classic

Digital Timepieces' Patek Philippe. This is, without a doubt, the most useful watch available. Casio, you did a fantastic job! br>br>When it comes to watches, I don't understand the current trend of "cookie on a strap. " Do you really want a watch that weighs 8 ounces and was salvaged from a sunken ship? This watch defies the trend, both in terms of size and practical utility. For those who have more brains than money, the F91 is the vehicle of choice. br>br>If you go back in time to when watches were only made to tell time and not to be fashionable, you'll notice that they were much smaller. The average man's watch was about 35mm wide, and guess what, the F91 is about 35mm wide as well. Do you think there was a reason why watches were smaller? Have you ever tried wearing one of the "cookie on a strap" watches with a long-sleeved shirt or with gloves? "How's that working out for you?" as Dr. Phil would say. ”. br>br>The F91 is easy to hide under shirts and won't catch on the cuff. It's so light that you don't even notice it's on your wrist, unlike a Seiko monster I used to have and couldn't wait to get rid of. There's no point in caring for it after you've forgotten it's on your wrist. I can't believe I didn't get one sooner, and I can't believe people buy watches that won't last more than 18 - 24 hours. br>br>Unlike today's smart watches, battery life is measured in years, not hours. br>br>I can't believe I didn't get one sooner, and I can't believe people buy watches that won't last more than 18 - 24 hours. The battery must be charged for 24 hours without access to a power source. That isn't progress; it is regression. It's funny how some people believe that black is actually white and that the moon is just the sun at night if they are exposed to enough marketing.
