With its Duofold shirt over the top, it can be dressed up to make it look like a lightweight sweater. It is sold by Amazon and Duofold under several different names, but most of them seem to look.
The product description says 25% merino wool, but it turns out it is just a terrible 60% cotton /40% poly blend. I was forced to return this item because there is absolutely no merino wool in it. The older Duofold I have was made with 60% merino wool and 40% wool- It's as warm as toast, but these are poor renditions. The description on Amazon needs to be corrected. You will be able to prevent others from falling victim to the same swindle.
My purchase of this product was My favorite part of this product is that it's warm, soft, and not too heavy so I can wear it under other shirts. Being always cold, it's the perfect item It has a little length in the sleeves, but all long sleeve shirts on me are long, I just roll 'em Because I am a girl, it is a little long, however I keep my hips warm as well. The best thing about the product is its price!.
My experience with DuoFold Thermal shirts is good both in terms of fit and wash results, so I have purchased many of these shirts in the past. A colored shirt was very disappointing, so I decided to try it. A smaller size suits the wearer better than a larger one As a result of washing it in cold water and drying it on low, it shrank significantly. This room is heated to a moderate level. In order to prevent further shrinkage, I now have to wash and hang it. I would not recommend it.
I have had several of them over the years. They hold up extremely There is a lot of comfort and softness to the double layers. Base layers made from moisture wicking materials are perfect for the summer.
Buying women's thermal shirts that are short has caused me to pull at the bottom of them. My vest would have to be worn with two shirts when I had on the women's thermals. Besides being extremely warm, long, and not going to accumulate cat fur, this shirt is also long. Now I have three more of the Duofold brand so I can endure dreary winters for the rest of my life.
Specifically, I ordered the service green, which was described as a cotton, polyester, and wool In fact, the shirts sent were cotton/poly blends, not wool blends. Despite their nice appearance, however, they don't exactly match what I wanted or as described, and I already have two of the cotton/poly shirts. Despite its small size, the small is tight. My frame is lean, so it fitted the way I liked it, but I wouldn't want it to be The Amazon product page was updated to reflect the correct description, but be aware that you may not receive the material specified in the item listing.
I purchased it to replace the Duofold that my husband's had for years, and I'm not kidding when I say it's tough! (he is not going to get rid of them really) They are fantastic shirts. I like the warmth and comfort of the home. It fits like the old one, only it has no holes. So I bought the largest one he had because that's what he had. His job is to work outside all year long. There is no coat, only layers. There are a lot of shirts he loves.
