There is really nothing I can tell you. At the time I bought mine, the top was the same price. In all, I paid around $29 for each one.
It is only slightly bigger and the sleeves are only about half an inch longer. I bought the large since the sleeves are too short on the medium. This means that the sleeves for small and medium are an almost identical size.

They were bought for my husband who has to work outside constantly in cold, windy conditions on/near the ocean and who builds ships in the Northwest.
