The lining of these shoes is mesh, right?

The mesh lining is not present.

Is there any stretch in them?

This is the little area where the zipper would be on a pair of shorts/pants, but not the waistband itself. If the size is off by about a 1/2 inch in either direction (too big or too small), your drawstrings won't look strange when you tie them. I am 5'8" and weigh 165 pounds, and wear a size 32 in jeans, slacks, shorts, etc, and the 32's in these boardshorts fit me perfectly. Here's what I could conjure up.

Is there a pocket on these?

On just the right front leg (1). This closure is held closed by a snap button.

These shorts seem to be transparent, meaning is the material thin and can you see through them?

A good fit, however the white turned yellow after a while

I was pleased with the fit and appearance. In spite of this, after wearing it for several days the white started to The yellow staining was stubborn to remove even after using multiple cleaning solutions. I'm not sure if it was a reaction with the sunscreen or chlorine. They had to be returned to me sadly.

I think they are the right length and the right size, and they are not too tight. Despite their claims of blocking the sun, I had a light tan line under these up to where my boxers were covering me from it. I am really happy with them besides that. It would be nice to have a variety of pairs like this.

There has been a catastrophic It took only about 2 months for this shorts to blow out the rear seam, leaving me exposed at the beach after only occasional use

Considering that I'm a small guy at 6'1" and 150 pounds, a pair of shorts shouldn't be strained by my size. Particularly to be expected given the price of this item, these shorts do not seem durable.
