I found this to be very comfortable directly on the skin, and the price is unbeatable. I have a similar (250g merino) base layer from Woolly, which is also very comfortable, but it's a lot more expensive; the Meriwool was perfect for $60. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose.
This set of base layer material has a nice color to it, but merino wool has the best fit and function. This is also available in a variety of colors, which I find appealing. Nothing has fared better in my opinion. If I were to improve this top, I would add optional thumb holes to keep the sleeves from riding up the arm while exercising.
priced. My height and weight are 5'11" and 163 pounds, respectively. I chose the medium option. I'd like it to be a little tighter, but it does a good job of hugging my body. Spring and Fall are both great times to wear it. I purchased a total of five in various colors.
I wear it as a base layer for skiing because it's well-made and warm. br>br>The static is the only issue I have. It makes you feel uneasy. br>br>I ordered an XLbr>br>Buyer bewarebr>br>.
Polypro has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was fed up with my "performance" clothes stinking even after washing them. I use my Meriwool base layer while kayaking, biking, and doing anything else that requires a base layer. Meriwool is the best choice for a base layer, in my opinion. Washes lean and leaves no odor behind. I went out and bought some more.
It's warm and doesn't take up a lot of space.
It had a soft feel to it and appeared to be warm. The fact that it was warm and inviting appealed to me.
In terms of fit and wool weight, it's superior to Smart Wool, and it's significantly less expensive.
