I'm not sure about the small size, but my husband bought another Stafford night shirt, this time in a lighter fabric, and it was too big. That is to say, the XL is more akin to an XXL, and it is quite long. It is, however, well-made and comfortable. I do recommend the brand; just order a size smaller than usual.
No, it doesn't get any smaller.
For my husband, who is 5 feet tall, I purchased a large. I'm 10 years old and weigh 165 lbs. It's spacious, but he likes it that way. This is a lovely nightgown.
China is where it's made. I'd also like to point out that all of the Stafford nightshirts are fantastic: It's well-designed, comfortable, attractive, and long-lasting; it's a great deal and comes highly recommended. They do, however, run big, so go down a size. I wish I had a flannel shirt in the same pattern as my husband's, which is black/dark gray plaid.

This was purchased to replace a worn-out Lands' End nightshirt for my husband. It's the perfect length for his 6'2' frame. The sleeves are also long enough, which is a plus for him. The material is thick and of good quality. It also keeps him warm and cozy in our unheated bedroom during our cold Canadian winters. br>br>Because we sleep with the window open, a flannel night shirt is essential for comfort; however, I wish there were more color options. However, I will definitely order this for him again.
I bought this for my husband, who previously stated that he would never wear a night shirt; however, we moved and the weather changed, so I asked him to try one on and let me know if he didn't like it. I'm going to get him another one now that he loves it so much. It's incredibly soft and easy to clean. Unlike some flannel, there is no pilling of the material on the inside.
I'm 5' 8" tall and weigh 200 pounds, with broad shoulders and a broad chest, as well as a bit of a stomach, lol. In order for my chest to fit comfortably, I usually order an extra large. That means it reaches my ankles in this night shirt, which is exactly how I didn't intend for it to drape in the first place. It has a lot of space and is very relaxing. The flannel is good quality, but for those of us who live in the northeast, a heavier weight flannel would be a better option. I bought two and would buy more if I could.
One night, I had to borrow my husband's nightshirt due to a laundry issue, and I absolutely loved it - except it was an extra large - The size is excessively large. So I went looking for women's nightshirts, but they were all too short, so I decided to try a men's in a small and voila - it worked. (Well, it's still a tad big, but that's fine!).
I would have expected this to last years for the price. It lasted about two weeks before ripping in the middle of the fabric (not at a seam). Also, the backside of the garment is too short; when I sit down, the backside of the garment no longer covers my tush.
However, as each nightfall approaches, I find myself wishing for those days gone by. The sleep doctor ordered finding 100% cotton flannel at a crazily reasonable price was exactly what he ordered. It's just that I wish there were more!.
The fit is perfect; it's a little long, but that's how my husband prefers it. The flannel is of excellent quality, and I'm confident it will last a long time. It's of higher quality than the stuff you'd find in a department store. Sewn is also preferable to store-bought varieties.
For the winter, however, I lacked a warm flannel one. Until now, that is, when I received this one! This shirt is a little too big for me [I'm 5'9" and weigh 200 lbs. ]. ], and I placed an order for a large. (However, I figure it's better to have a shirt that's a little too loose than one that's too tight, right? In any case, it's roomy, well-washed, soft, and comfortable. This shirt is warm, well-made, and ideal for the winter. made, and it costs a reasonable amount of money; I couldn't be more pleased!.
