Clarks are his favorite shoes, so I bought them for him. It was a birthday present that arrived earlier than expected.
Breaking in takes time. The shoe has a nice look to it, but it will take a few weeks to break in. In addition, I have a high arch, and this shoe has no insole, only a flat sole. As a result, I added my ow to the equation. Also- After two weeks, some stitching at the tongue of the shoe has begun to fall apart, requiring me to take it to a shoe repair shop. I'm not satisfied at all.
This shoe received five stars from me because it is extremely well made. However, because I use orthotic inserts, the shoe is a little too tight, particularly where the side stitching meets your foot. They fit okay without the inserts or socks, but I have to have the inserts, and I hate not wearing socks. I was hoping that these shoes would work because they are attractive. I suppose I'll continue to wear my desert boots.
This is a shoe I enjoy wearing. It's crisp and clean, with plenty of room for my Keene insoles. Because of my lack of arch, I couldn't wear them without the inserts. The Clarks look is one of my favorites.
The footwear appears to be in good condition. When I compared it to the one I got from CLARKS, it was clear that this one was of lower quality. I'm returning it because I don't believe it's genuine, and I'm not willing to pay the same price.
The appearance is soft, but they are actually quite stiff until you walk in them for a while; one feels like there is a lump behind my heel in the back, but that is simply due to the way they are sewn together. It's a little difficult to put on at first, but once you do, it's a great fit.
It's great to see they're still the same as they were when I first got them. The crepe soles have always been a favorite of mine because they are so comfortable and long-lasting. The only thing I don't understand is why they gave me an extra pair of blue laces? Dark brown is the color of the shoes and the laces.
Great style with a twist. It's very comfortable, and there's plenty of room for wider feet. The funky, almost retro style is absolutely brilliant. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a pair of black suede boots.
